1990 mustang on ebay by
Jimmy
So I was surfing e-bay checking out mustangs and came across this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4500351458&category=6236
This guy wants more than $16600? WTF? Yes, less than 1300 miles. But
what a waste. Sitting in a garage while I've been enjoying mine for...

Gunky Ford steering wheels by
Wound Up
RAMFM,
Many of you are familiar with the sticky, gunk-collecting steering
wheels on 80s and 90s Fords, among others. What would you recommend in
terms of a cleaner or solvent? I would rather avoid just wrapping or
covering it. Just was thinking there was something commonly by trim
shops,...

My impression of the New Mustang by
boB
I drove a GT this evening. It only had 450 miles on it, so I didn't
want to really thrash it before break in. Not my car. Not like my
impression is worth a lot, but here it is anyway.
What I liked:
Front grill/fascia, and rear fascia: This is what attracted me to the
car to begin with. I've...

GT intake manifold crack by
C Miller
Well the intake manifold cracked on my 98 GT right behind the alternator -
I found a TSB on it and talked to some locals that knew about it too, but
the dealer is looking at the VIN and saying "doesn't apply to your car". -
Can anyone else who has had this problem let me know how they handled...

WTB! T-5 .83 OD Driven Gear! by
Mark Conklin
I picked up a great T-5 that I want to put in my car but the 5th driven gear
has a few teeth nicked. The part number I'm looking for is 13-52-070-046.
It's a .83 ratio gear for a 2.95 trans. I've already checked with Tremec,
Modern Driveline, D&D, Hanlon and Brother's Performance. Nobody has any...

Once again, with feeling . . . by
Max C. Webster III
Driving into work this morning, El Imán de Chicas, my 2001 GT was rear-ended
again; the first time was October 2002 ( http://snipurl.com/akg2 - I forgot how
angry I was about that accident until I reread that post -- I was convinced the
car was ruined, but the body shop did a great -- you'd never...

2007 Cobra engine info from SEMA ? by
DriveSpy
Any info circulating on this yet? Friend of mine who went to SEMA said he
thought there was some info tossed out from a somewhat official source on
engine config and estimated pricing for the car. Probably still speculation.
Oh well. I figure the beast will be over $40K.

Where to sell convertible top cover for 2000 model? by
Peter
Hi,
I just sold my 2000 Mustang convertible. However I ended up with a
almost new convertible top cover which is in great condition.
Question now is where I can I sell it. Is Ebay the best or any other
alternatives? I live in Dallas Texas.
Also, what can I ask for one?
Thanks

building a rotisserie by

I'm building a rotisserie and I was wondering if anyone knows the cener of
gravity of a '65 '66 shell. I'm not sure but I think I heard was the center
of the radiator opening in the front. What about the rear? I want to avoid
any costly and timely trial and error period. TIA

AC question.. by

Hey, if anyone can help with this...
I just picked up a Sanden SD-5 compressor still in box and I'm trying to
find what applications it is right for. A hunt on the internet didn't
turn up much though a check of the Sanden site says that the
sd-5h14 is the r134 successor to the r12 sd-5 series...

'65 Fastback Rear Seat Installation by
Steve Battles
I'm reinstalling the interior of my fastback. I dismantled it almost
20 years ago. Yeah, one of those long drawn out restorations.
Anyway, I'm trying to install the rear "shelf" unit. It's the part of
the fold down rear seat that's closest to the "trap door" near the
trunk. I can't figure out how...

'65 - '66 suspension by
Jeffrey Davison
What needs to be done to the '65 - '66 to make them the best "track"
car? Ride quality is not as important as handling.
After market bits available? best springs and socks? Anyone here of an
independent rear suspension conversion?
Thanks people
Jeff Davison
