82 rabbit parts car w/ link to pics by none
Greetings, I have an 82 rabbit with a 1.7 carbed engine, and 5 speed trans. It's probably only good for parts. The body is pretty much rust- free, but the underside is questionable, as it's been sitting in the weeds for a few years. The inside is trashed. I was told it needs a timing belt to run....

Why cant I buy a 2006 passat turbo diesel wagon with a 5 speed manual in the USA (Texas) ? Why is VW such a stupid company ? I drove one of these all over Europe a couple of years ago (with the 1.9L) and loved it ! Got 35 mpg at 120 mph on the autobahn. Lynn
