Parking Brake by JG
The 6 spd 99 I just bought has very little parking brake grab. The previous owner gave me receipts that show that the brakes were replaced 15K miles ago. I've gone to a few forums that have varying information. One talks about pulling up on the handle with the button depressed 5 or 6 times....

C3 bent frame ?? question by YT
Hi, Have a urgent question about the C3 frame. I have a 79 here which has the complete right side (were the 4 bodymounts are) sitting on average 1/2" higher than the left side. Cross measuring from one bodymount to the other suggest the frame is still very much straight. I had the frame jacked up...

1992 Antifreeze by chasb
My 1992 LT1 is due for an antifreeze change. I believe I read somewhere that only the old style green antifreeze should be used in pre-1994 cars. A dealer has told me I can use the newer Dex Cool. I thought the article I read said that will attack my solder joints in my radiator. Anyone have any...

'94 Headlight gear bushings (R&R assembly or just motor) by RicSeyler
Anyone done the '94-up Headlight motor bushing upgrade? I was just wondering from someone who has already done it whether you R&R'd the whole assembly or just the motor? One side has finally given up the ghost, the "gel" in the original must be totally deteriorated. But they have been cycling...

C5 Vs CTS-V by sbright
Had a little fun last night with a CTS-V. I must say I was very impressed. I think they come with LS2 motor the guy said it was 400 HP. It's a good thing I had my "Big" car with me because I think it would have spanked a C5 without a blower. Not too shabby with a back seat and navigation.. too...

GM problems by [email protected]
What is up with the GM styling and design team. Ford and Chrysler are pulling away. I am a GM junkie but I find myself always looking back at the "good ole days" instead of the present. Other than the Corvette the Chevy line up is weak. It seems as though the bean counters have left Ford and taken...

The local Ford dealer got a GT (40) in with a price tag of $151,000 and change. Looks even tougher that the original did, blown with rollers for tires. Dealer claims that the present HP is 550 and not 500 as it started out in life. He also said the Company was going to build 8,000 of them...

Hi All, Found mouse droppings in my '75 model, so put a mouse trap on the drivers floormat. Caught a mouse. Reset the trap, and caught a second mouse. Found a large mouse nest under the console by the temp. controls made of chewed up carpet insulation. I figured they were getting in around...

Wheel question for 65 vette by tony wright
I just purchased a set of 15x8 rallys for my '65 vette. I was told by the manufacturer they would fit. The front fits, but the rear ones are hitting on the inside. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the remedy? Should I try spacers?
