Yet another 2005 Mustang question by
I know that the discussion of 2005 Mustangs is getting very worn out & FAST,
but I have a question for you guys... how long do you think they'll keep
this body style? 94-98, 99-04, 05-??.

Not like I have the kinda $$ for this right now...
http://www.mustangtuning.com/vtst1ca.html
But I was looking at it & got curious. What kinda numbers are we looking at
for a car like mine with that sort of modification? I don't know a whole lot
about 'em... how much would it cost (avg) to get...

Clutch cable by
Well, yesterday wasn't that great of a day. No sales... clutch cable SNAPPED
while driving on a busy road.. and then when I finally got it home, I locked
my keys in my car.
How difficult is it to install a new clutch cable? What ****es me off is I
*just* had a new cable & quadrant installed at Pro...

'05 V6 grill fogs -- the actual answer by
Ok, so after a week of research, $500, and some serious migranes, I have
found the 'almost definitive' answer on getting fogs into the V6.
The parts needed are the Ford OEM grille, fog switch, and fog lights from
the GT, and the wiring harness being hawked all over ebay (DONT buy the
grille kit...

Tim,

but just finally getting around to doing something about it. I need 'em for
all 4. Do you have these available? Autozone has "kits" for front & back...
$25 per kit (so $50 & I'm not willing to spend $50 for these tiny...

Touchup on powdercoated wheels? by
Have the chance to pick up some powdercoated 18x10.5" wheels for pennies on
the dollar ($600 total for a set of 4, with rubber). Only catch is, the guy
scraped a curb, and theres a pea-sized chip in the powdercoat. Its not
chipping around or anything, but it is silver (looks ugly, if you spot...

backfiring by
I have this problem that's been the plague of my '65 Stang for the last
several months. Ever since a damn-near complete overhaul of the top-end
(after a bout with piston slap) I've had this crazy repetitive clacking
sound coming from the passenger-side lifters.. and particularly in the last
few...

Ok, quadrant was a piece of cake to get installed. The cable... well.. diff
story. When I removed the old clutch cable the first time, it was bolted
onto a part... I don't know what that part one. Like, there was a metal
bracket attached to the middle of the cable (not exactly the middle, but
near...

302 V8 upgrade on six w/ auto tranny 1969 Mustang by
I just bought a 69 coupe with the 250 inline six w/ auto tranny. I have a
302 lined up and ready to be transplanted, this should be a straight deal
right? Or are there going to be major implications. I also plan to put in a
manual trans a little later, any recommendations? Also will the 302...

Car studdering again by
I pulled a plug & noticed it was a little "black" on the tip. I should note
that the plugs in there are NGK Iridium spark plugs. I don't know if this is
normal or not. On acceleration, the car "studders" so to speak. Last 3-4
times it has done this.. it has been ignition related. I've replaced...

Plug wires by
Anybody know where I can get some plug wires for my 98 GT for a decent

shipping. Seems a tad high to me.

Considering 02 coupe by
Depends on how much abuse the car has seen. Generally they've been reliable
to most ppl that I know... mine has been reliable USUALLY.. but it has
caused me some grief (but the car you're looking at is also 4 years newer
than mine..). I'd say check it out extremely thoroughly... see how...

I was driving back home earlier from running a couple errands.. and I see

picture of her in Shug.. then a little Honda Civic with the works (fart
