Getting CD Changer Casette Out by Wolfgang Sachse
Hi all - I recently replaced the CD changer in my '94 325i. It's the Model TR1003 (Part No. 82 11 1 468 014). Unfortunately I have 3 CD's in the casette that's stuck in the old unit. I've taken the covers off but no matter how I try I can't seem to get it to eject the cassette. Any and all...

Can someone tell me what type and size of hex wrench I need or Torx wrench socket size to release the brake calipers from the rotors so I can change my pads? I removed the small plastic caps and tried a 1/4" hex wrench but I can't see inside to tell if it's Torx or Hex type. Can anybody...

Hi all, hopefully somebody knows the answer to this query and can help us out. The car in question is a 98 325tds manual, and we're exchanging its broken engine for one from a M51 donor 325td auto, (but keeping the turbo and intercooler from the tds). The question is with regards to the Bosch...

1992 525i Overheating by Scott
I notice that my 1992 525i overheats when it sits idle for several minutes or more. Today as I was waiting in line for coffee, it went quite high. As I drove away, it barely touched the red area and the coolant temp warning went off, as I drove, as it always does in the past, it dropped back...

E46 Coupe problem by slikdick
I have a 2004 E46 330 ci. When pulling away in first gear, the car "Kangaroos" right through the rev range until second gear is selected. This is an intermittent fault, worse in wet weather, which my local dealer is having difficulty rectifying as there is no error showing on their diagnostic...

Radio Problems by Scott
I have a '92 525i with the standard BMW radio/cd head. Recently the right channel sounds "scratchy" and when you turn the volume knob it makes loud pops, only in the right channel. Is the volume pot dirty or is there something else causing the problem? Thanks!

2001 530i clutch by Nocturne
Having just bought this car I thought the clutch pedal was a bit high & the clutch had a lot of travel before the bite, making changes a bit awkward esp if changing at high revs, I thought I would get used to it, but have not as yet. Is there any way of adjusting the clutch or lowering the pedal...

Just got the '45 back from the dealer for an oilchange and they upgraded the s/w (I don't know if you can tell what version is installed) and so far have noticed a BIG improvement to the Navigation system. There is a cool new view called perspective which is harder to describe than I care to...
