Clunking sound from 2000 CR-V by tom
I get this sound sometimes at stop lights, not when moving. I sounds like a clunk in some sort of pump. Clunk, Clunk, Clunk, about one clunk per second or a little faster. It's been doing this for a month. Any guesses as to what it is?

Lincoln Town Car leans to passenger side by The Derfer[_2_]
I have a 1997 Lincoln Town Car . It has always leaned to one side (passenger side). This, however, has never impacted drivability. What would be some reasons why a big, body-on-frame sedan would lean like this? Leaf spring is only plausible answer to me. If it were a front spring, there'd be a...

help with replacing ignition switch '95 subaru legacy by [email protected]
The ignition switch on my 1995 Subaru Legacy looks like it is (finally) failing, after 180,000 miles on the vehicle. The lock sticks and it takes quite a bit of working the key around to finally get it to turn to start the car. The car just got back from the shop (air conditioning fix) so I...

2003 Dodge Ram 1500, 4wd 4.7L V8 - approx. 2 years ago the AC stopped blowing cold when not moving. It actually felt like heat. Dodge service concluded 134a was a tiny bit low, but even topping it off to the standard 1lb 10ounce didn't do the trick. No leaks to speak of and off I go with them...

Used car maintanence strategy by Brian Gordon
I have just bought a used car (Saturn) with 78,000+ miles on it. I will work it into a regular maintanence schudule -- but where do I start? A window sticker tells me about the last oil change, but I don't know about anythong else. I can guess it might need a transmission flush and a radiator...

My girlfriend has a 2006 Lexus ES-330 I think it is. She bonked something and left a quite sizable dent in the front bumper. Furtunately I managed to pop it out fairly well with a c- clamp and a piece of wood for pressure. It is hard to notice now. But - where she bonked it, inside the bumper...
