E36 Air bag recall? by
wigg
I have a 325TDS touring c1997 (UK P reg) with the airbag light on.
The fault shows as the firing circuit for the passenger seat belt tensioner.
I believe these cars we the subject of a recall for the wiring under the
seat.
This involved swapping a short piece of loom with a more robust plug.
Does...

Windscreen washers by
[email protected]
Hello everybody
1987 320i E30
Apart from the pump, what should I check to fix windscreen washers
that stopped working some time ago ? The wipers work fine.
Is there a relay somewhere ? I can't find any help in Haynes.
Thanks for any pointers.

mice in 94 740IL glove box by
Anyone else experience mice nests in a BMW glove compartment? I put traps
in the garage, which seems to have stopped it for the time being. Had to
clean out nests every 2-3 days for the last month.

price advice on 2004 325Ci by
Drew
Today I was looking at a leftover 2004 325Ci coupe that has about 20 miles
on it and has never been registered. The sticker was originally $35,700;
they are asking $32,900. Does $2800 seem like a fair discount for a 2004
model?
I was at another dealer ealier in the day and they had a 2005 that...

7 Series by
Meg R.
Holy Cow.... I think somebody is a little bit sensitive. Corey, are you sleeping with Mr. Bangle? I simply asked when is BMW going to do the next 7 series makeover, and you interpret it as "whining". I think the only "whining" is to be found in your defensive rant. And after your tirade is...

Door Hinge Damage Question by
Class 1
Technical question - I've noticed that some people (for whatever
reason) aren't too fussed about using quite some force in throwing open
their doors all the way, until it hits the retainer, before getting out
of their BMW.
If, say, a previous owner had been repeatedly doing so over a number...

I seem to have developed a nasty leak coming from the timing cover on the

to remove the cover plate(s). It is not clear in the manuals - I am...

[email protected]
I have a 2001 325cj and I'm having a problem with the windows fogging
up.
Not just the windshield mind you but every window in the car.
The defroster takes care of the windshield but not the door windows or
the rear windows.
I don't have an auto sensing control just the dial controller,

Wheel bolts instead of lug nuts...why? by
GRL
Recently bought a 330i and learned, much to my surprise and disgust,
that BMW used bolts instead of lug nuts to attach wheels to the car.
This makes mounting wheels much more difficult than with lug nuts (and
wheel studs). You need three hands instead of two. (Most folks only have
two.
What is...

What GPS-based speed camera detector also detects red lightcam... by
Joanny Smith
Speeders are a threat to other motorists. Speed kills. I am sure many
speeders eat sound meals, exercise four times a week, and even have
plastic surgery to look good.
Count on a shortened life, if you drive your car at excessive speeds.
Too many people think THEY ARE NUMBER ONE on the highway....

2004 M3 and Bluetooth by
John E Yurkon
Well, I almost bought the bluetooth kit for my M3. I sent BMWUSA an email
first asking about bluetooth with assist. They replied and said that they
were working on one but had no expected date of availability. I guess I'll
wait until later this year. I'd hate to install bluetooth only to find...
