Gunky Ford steering wheels by
Wound Up
RAMFM,
Many of you are familiar with the sticky, gunk-collecting steering
wheels on 80s and 90s Fords, among others. What would you recommend in
terms of a cleaner or solvent? I would rather avoid just wrapping or
covering it. Just was thinking there was something commonly by trim

WTB - '67-8 Mustang / Cougar hood hinges by
Wound Up
Does anyone have a good, tight set of these they'd be willing to sell
me? They are scarce around here, and I'd rather have good originals
than repros. My new hood is 1/2-inch "popped up" at the cowl, and it's
really bugging me.
I don't know what other cars used this hinge, but I'm sure many of...

Jasper crate engines? by
Wound Up
I've heard good things about Jasper motors, and am considering one for
next year. I think the Paxton blower is probably not the best way to
go.... well... maybe later on ;)
Has anyone bought one of these? Do you know if the advertised HP and TQ
are accurate? I always heard that a rule of thumb...

Hey RAMFM
Here are some links that might be of interest to RAMFM. There's a lot
here. They are not "our links" any more than the air is our air. Just
check 'em out if you'd like to; this compilation may look familiar, but
has been modified a bit ;^).
There are quite a lot to check out. Have...

problem with front left wheel by
[email protected]
The other day I went over a speed bump really fast, didn't know it
was there.. Now the front left wheel is making some noise, and binding
up on something.. sometimes like a metallic squeal, other times a
grinding groan.. Very noticeable from say 0-10mph, but above that only
an occasional squeak.
I...

problems at or near WOT by
[email protected]
A month or so ago I had a couple of my spark plug wires end up laying
on my headers and getting burned through, which of course caused a bad
driving experience, bucking under accel, etc., I replaced the wires as
soon as I found out that was the problem, I also replaced those 2 spark
plugs, the dead...
