Ford 'badged' vehicle built on Miata frame? by Karl North
Hi everyone, I was driving "Maggie Mae" (My 'new' '01 Miata) this evening and my best girl posed a very thought provoking question. She asked 'with all the crossover (Rebranded / rebadged) cars that Ford & Mazda make (Explorer-Navajo, MX6-Probe, 323-Laser, Escape-Tribute, etc etc) why...

Nice Tires? by [email protected]
Hi, I've just bought a 91 Miata NA, in Silverstone. She's a lovely car, and her tires are certainly 'ok'; but, I'm thinking I'd like to replace them for something a bit more performance oriented, and hopefully also something a bit smoother. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

FS: 1990 Miata in Austin - $2500.00 - 66,000 miles by pws[_1_]
No affiliation, but I expected this to be sold the first day, especially when he or she posted it on a perfect top-down weather day. I wonder if there are major unmentioned problems, that is about 4,000 miles a year since 1990. I would definitely be worried about some seals leaking, but I would...

The '96M is gone - sniff by pws[_1_]
I just watched the shell of the best car that I have ever owned get hauled off. Oh well, even the right quarter panel is going to be cut off and used to fix a '97 STO. We couldn't load it straight onto a trailer without tearing up the section he needs to cut out, so we flipped, lifted and slid...

Ride height varies by BAK
The ride height on my '95 varies slightly in the front left-right, in the rear its 3/8" higher on the right. This is with new KYB AGX shocks, FM springs, FM rear shock mounts, and all new bump stops. Is this acceptable? Is there a way to adjust this?

Improving the ride of a 2003 Shinsen? by [email protected]
Hi y'all, just got my first Miata (first stick shift car, too) off eBay a few weeks ago. I am having a lot of fun with it as you might imagine, but there is one issue - over rough pavement, the ride can get pretty damn harsh. I mean, there are some bad stretches of interstate around here that...

IAP Sensor by [email protected]
Has anyone heard of any benefit from unplugging the IAP sensor and putting a resistor across the two leads on the female side of the plug? Someone on EBay is selling the resistors and offering instructions on how to install it in the Mazda MX5.

Back to the group and question about a 90 Miata by JeffinMS
I subscribed to this group for about 1 1/2 years while I owned a 90 Blue Miata, some may remember I ran over that 10 ton jack that fell off a wrecker while going down I-20, tearing the oil pan off and I got some good advice on repairs from this group. Anyway, I sold my Miata and went to the...
