Is the game much better when you use a driving wheel, even without the forcefeedback?

Forza versus GT4 and Enthusia by meee
I finally got copies of forza and enthusia to compare with GT4. GT4 and Enthusia are both running through my computer via my Hauppauge TV card, which allows me to use the exact same logitech forcefeedback wheel and computer monitor as I use for GPL N2003 and other pc sims. This allows me to get a...

just played richard burns rally, tough game. by meee
I finally played RBR, and it is easily the most difficult racing game I have ever played. I have not crashed my car more in a racing game since way back when I first played GPL. And yet it is not really frustrating , but loads of fun in spite of all of my off track excursions. I played it for 3...

anyone buying Forza Racing ? by meee
I am probably going to get it, even though I was not that impress by the demo I played a few months ago. However it received a very positive review in an article in Popular Science magazine, in which an experienced race car driver drove the actual race track, Road Atlanta I believe, after...

played Cross racing demo by meee
I did not know that the demo was out, but found it by accident at Gamershell downloads section I believe. The game has decent graphics, ok physics for the most part, but mostly seems hard to control the cars or predict when you are about to lose control.

NVIDIA driver by Mel Fisk
I updated the NVIDIA driver to 195.62 on my GeForce 8800GT and it screwed up my rFactor graphics big time. Anyone else experienced problems? I rolled back to version 182.08 and all is restored as before

best simulated driving? by mercedes-amg
I want to get a gift for my husband - he has mentioned he would like a simulated driving system for his computer (windows xp) with a steering wheel and pedals. Can anyone recomend the best one and where I can purchase it? I'm in Canada but can also get it on-line if I have to. Thanks very much.

Connecting CH Pedals (or any pedals) to LWFF by Michael Horton
For the life of me I can't remember who it was that had the instructions for wiring a different set of pedals to a LWFF way back in the early GPL days. Does anyone remember who it was and if he still has a website (all I remember was that he was Canadian, from Quebec, and was big into the...

In an effort to attract new drivers we've decided to open up our races to the public..... Mark Davey has picked Las Vegas and the Aero88 mod for this week's track. If you don't have the Aero88 mod it's available under N2003 Goodies->USPits Mods. Feel free to pass this DM onto any other leagues...

Originally formed during N2/TEN as the Old Fart's League, with the release of GPL, and to better reflect the society's dynamic, the Gentlemen's Motor Sport Society came into being. The GMSS has raced every Papyrus simulation since its inception and has also tried any worthwhile simulation by...

A GPL Christmas by Michael Sisson
I guess I am the bearer of the torch, again. ;) (Has anyone out there ever written anything like this for other sims? Is GPL alone in the devotion of its fans? Someone needs to write 'A Racing Legends Christmas') A GPL Christmas by Joe Shaw

I am a member of a 'small' web forum that deals with all sorts of subjects. One of the sections deals with gaming, and one of the members happens to be a Logitech employee. Over the last week or so he has been very kind to divulge information about the upcoming G25 wheel. I have been keeping an eye...
