Clear coat scratch removal by TF
I waxed my new '04 and in some spots, I can see very faint lines and swirls on the clearcaot, despite washing and wiping down first. Is there a way to buff these out by hand. They are so faint that most people might not even bother, but if I can get rid of them at next wax, I'd like to. Thanks, TF

When I start my 1968 corvette, the wiper door opens. The wipers and headlights work fine, but the door stays open unless I close it manually after the car is turned off. Any suggestions? -- posted from http://www.motorsforum.com/corvette/1968-corvette-wiper-door-troubleshooting-19392-.htm using...

Chevrolet Recall by Blue C5[_2_]
GM has recalled more than a million cars because a heavy key chain or an accidental pull on it can turn off the ignition. My Cruz and Malibu Hybrid are not recalled and even a heavy pull cannot turn off the ignition. On my 2000 Corvette a gentle pull can turn it off. It has a slotted notch in...

2005 prices by Mark Jones
The new Corvettes are starting to show up at the dealers and I am surprised at how high the sticker prices are. They are in the $50K to $55K range for a coupe. I wasn't expecting the price to be so high.

Error code 36 by Rick B.
I checked the error codes on my 1987 coupe (thanks to the help of you guys) and received code number 36. Much to my confusion, I was given two different meanings for that code. One from the www.c4vettes.com website said code 36 is the mass air flow burn off circuit, meaning a problem with the...

I have a '94 Cpe with sport seats I drive to the office every day. It has 143,000 miles on it and the red leather sports driver's seat is starting to look a little faded. The leather is structurally sound, just faded. There is a zipper on the back of the seat back, so it may be easy to remove. ...
