REQ: advice on '65 coupe restomodding by Andrew
Hi everyone, After years of slugging away at an old 6-banger and fixing this and fixing that, I have made up my mind... I am getting it restomodded. The car isn't special enough to warrant a restoration and keeping it original, and I drive it regularly enough during the summer that I...

Hi everyone, Really hoping someone can help me locate a good, working C-4 transmission for my '65 coupe with a 200cu.in. straight 6. Good working condition means it was removed from a car in good working order, not necessarily rebuilt but for a good price will consider all. Please email me...

'65 coupe 6cyl tranny issue by Andrew Croft
Hi everyone, Now that the weather in Ontario is nice I have been driving my '65 coupe to work every day and I'm loving it! Some recent engine work and carb tuning has made it enjoyable again! Still, as the engine gets hotter and hotter the transmission begins to slip. Slip to the point of... if...

Mach 460 Wattage by [email protected]
I have a Mach 460 sound system. Everything except an aftermarket radio is Mach. I was wondering if I could get more out of my system by changing all the amps to higher watts or if I am just going to blow my system completely. I was thinking of getting maybe 500w amps for all around or if that would...

I want to lower my 2007 GT (when it arrives) but I'm not sure if I want to go with the Ford Racing "Handling Pack" for around $1100 or just get an Eibach Pro Kit. Anyone have experience with lower their 2005+ Mustang? Thanks, Andy

93 GT eating alternators by Andy Smith
This car is a 1993 Mustang GT, 5 speed, with 189000 miles. Could it be that my belt tensioner is too tight? Can that thing be adjusted? I've had 1 alternator's pulley disintegrate and a couple of others sieze. Good thing the first one came with a lifetime warranty. Back to Pep-boys. Andy

I've got it bad... by Andy Smith
....lust for the new Shelby GT 500, that is. Financially it's probably going to be a stretch, but I figure in about a year from now I could swing it. I already feel guilty about wanting to replace my black 93 GT though. I bought it new (my 3rd black GT) and have put 182,000 enjoyable miles, but the...

Questions to ask when purchasing '73 mustang Mach-1? by Angel Monson
Hi again, I've been thinking on whether i should purchase the '73 Mach-1 and I've decided I really want to. I know I don't know much about cars, but I want to learn and I think a 'cool' car like this is the best way. I also want to maintain it on my own. I've been working on a list of what I...
