Switching odo/speedometer from KM to MILES on Accord 01 by innuen6o
Thinking of selling my 2001 Honda Accord VTEC 4-cylinder auto. BUT, I brought it from Canada when I started school in the US. Is there any way to change the odo/speedometer readout to miles from kilometers? I figure since it's all digitally based, that I can just flip a switch and make it...

2006 Civic SI Announcement by TWW
I received an e-mail from Honda today announcing that the new SI is now available at my local dealer. What a laugh! My local dealer tells me they are expecting exactly one at the end of Jan 06 and another at the end of March. They are both sold and will go out the day they arrive. I was told that...

95' Accord Auto Trans by Bowetiguy
I just installed a used trans and it doesn't seem to have 1st or 3rd gear. I have power to 2 of the wires going to the shift solenoids but none to the other two. You can hear all four solenoids engage when you touch them with a hot lead. ANY SUGGESTIONS SHORT OF BOAT ANCHOR WOULD...

Car Lunging-Jerky at low speeds by Gerry
I have a 98 Civic EX and it has begun to lunge at low speeds. It is an automatic and seems like the jerkiness is at gear changing. there is no idle problem and it runs fine on the highway. Any ideas?

I had overheated the car but not badly, I shut it down quickly. I had the mechanic replace the radiator, had the cylinder head rebuilt plus new head gasket, timing belt (84,000 miles) and water pump, new hoses, new radiator fan, etc. I asked the mechanic if the bottom end (block/pistons) could...
