97 Stang GT 5-speed Transmeeshone by corky
My clutch is feeling weak and I'm getting a whirring sound when the clutch is depressed. Anyone know about what they charge for a rebuild? I guess I will call the dealer but wanna know what the experts here think. Do they have to pull the engine to do this or anything stupid like that?

Air Pump Check Valve Leading to the Heads by Joe Colella[_2_]
My air pump check valve (Ford: E9VE-9A487-AB) that attached to the pipe leading to the heads broke off the pipe at the nut on my 93 Mustang GT. When I attempted to remove the nut off the pipe, I bent/crimped the pipe between the elbow of the pipe and the threads where the nut from the air pump...

Dirty Fuel Injectors??? by Joe Colella[_2_]
My 93 GT would not start. The engine cranked, but that's it. The first two questions that came to mind were (1) Is there a spark, and (2) Is there fuel. To answer the first question, I shot some starting fluid in the throttle body and the car turned over, sputtered and died. So I figured, yes...

'73 front bumper by mike[_23_]
So, my dad has a 73 mustang that was parked a little to close to the garage when the house burned. The front bumper has a portion of the rubber coating burned off. I look at this and say, oh there must be plenty of parts out there for this car, after all its a mustang, you know, collectible. ...

Weird 2000 GT cooling problem by [email protected]
It started with Low Coolant light going on even though the tank was full. Since it's been a while since I changed the coolant, I had a flush done and replaced the thermostat also. After the flush, I started noticing that coolant is leaking from under the cap, so assuming the cap was bad, I replaced...

Where's Our New Ford Ranchero? by [email protected]
Seems GM is serious about a new El Camino. With full-size pickups taking a beating at the gas pump, I think there's a market for a scaled-down hauler with a car-like cabin. So Ford, where's the plans for a Mustang-based Ranchero? ---article--- General Motors plans a new family of...

Interesting Mustangs at the drags by Big Al[_2_]
They filmed Pinks here Saturday. Were two interesting Mustangs there. On was an 85 that ran 9.31 against me in time trials. This was a dead stock looking car right down to the 4 lug wheels. The other was a newer blown Cobra. Also running in the 9's. Power windows, AC and all. Both were silver,...
