iRacing Watkins Glen and the Radical by
Larry[_1_]
I'm not a huge fan of RC racing (I'm more of an oval hound), but I gotta
tell you...
The quality of the iRacing Watkins Glen track is surpassed by nothing,
possibly even the real thing :)
And racing the Radical at the iRacing WG track is heaven, even for this
non-RC guy.
I can live with the...

GTR Evo Arrived... by
Larry[_1_]
It's a DVD in a DVD case, with a single sheet controller guide. I just love
the first 4 commands:
Up Arrow - Accellerate
Brake - Down Arrow
Steer Left - Left Arrow
Steer Right - Right Arrow
And folks wonder why I just can't get into ISI based sims LOL

Logitech MOMO (RED) replacement Table Clamp by
[email protected]
This post is done under the advisement of a member of the Wingman
Bulletin Board.
Dear Sir/Maam,
I am writing this because Logitech support cannot apparently help me. I
have the logitech MOMO FF (RED) FF wheel. Last week a small person in
the household decided to use the wheel to drive the car...

Best bang for the buck home cockpit frame? by
GaryR
I'm looking for a friend that has a great wife and wants me to set him
up. I'll be using a real racing seat and most likely a G25 Wheel with
a real Momo wheel (350mm wheel) and a billit aluminum seqential
shifter afapted to it for starters. I have this one in mind for now,
looks solid and very...

MOMO Racing vs Driving Force Pro, for PC use by
Eric Tetz
I want a wheel that is precise, has no (or minimal) slop or "dead
zone", and is capable of providing good road feel through the FF.
The DFP supports 900 degree mode. This is supposedly a lot of fun, and
combined with DXTweak it provides a lot of flexibility. That's easily
worth an extra $50 to me,...

FFB latency by
Mario Petrinovic
Well, after I realised that the correct way to set FFB is to put all
values the same, I reassessed the "cockpitLookDeadZone" value. It turned out
that this value should be much lower than I previously thought. On my system
it is somewhere around 0.002760.
If your system is well trimmed...

More Vista Licensing... by
Larry[_1_]
Ok, the plot gets thicker.
http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2006/10/26/Microsoft_clarifies_Vista_activation_to_bit-tech/
Now, this is third-hand info, so it has to be taken with a grain of salt.
And this sure as hell ain't what the License says!

I found the right FFB settings by
Mario Petrinovic
Mario Petrinovic:
Mario Petrinovic:
Spring, Damper and Centering Spring have to be at the same value.
Not any value, but at the value where slack is eliminated. At my system this
happens at 82. So, my settings are 118/82/82/82.
Now I relized why it was so difficult to find it. It is...
