Switching from Standard oil to Synthetic by
Phil
What is the consensus on switching from standard oil to synthetic?
Vehicle is 96 Rodeo 3.2L engine, automatic transmission, 4WD, 120,000 miles
Functionally equivalent to a Honda Passport, which is why I've crossposted.
I've been changing oil / filter every 3K miles since I bought it with approx...

Henri Fournier
I took my 2001 Acura EL 1.7 in for regular service (odometer 109,335 Km) and
noted that I was hearing a clunking sound from the left-front when going
over small bumps. After the service, I was informed that I had a strut that
was leaking badly and that it would need replacing, but that I should...

Can someone tell me, or point me to a website that explains, how to
retrieve computer fault codes from a 94 Accord ?
Hopefully I don't have to go running to the dealer every time I want to
check them...

I have a 99 Honda Civic, and I have about 112,200 miles on it. I had a
full maintenance (brakes, timing belt, etc) at 100,000 miles and since
then, the maintenance light has came on twice. The first time, I turned
it back to green by pressing that one button, but now, it came on again.
What...

I have a 2003 honda civic ex and the heater control that adjusts the heat
levels does not seem to be working properly. If you put the control all
the way down to cool it should cool off right away, correct? And visa
versa on cool to hot? It doesn't. Is this the ambient air temperature
censor? ...

hondas are for loosers by
Frank Puck
I owned a honda once -- my biggest mistake.
Because of this experience I take care to consider the torque description of
any potential car I buy.
The max. torque should be available at a low RPM.
And of couse the max. torque should be as high as possible.
The number (in foot-pd) should be similar...

badly when it is in neutral or park. I've noticed this is something
that seems to happen to only auto cars. The timing belt was changed
