Drifting an original '68 GT500KR by
[email protected][_2_]
And some people think drifting started recently in Japan. Here's proof
the first-gen muscle cars started it. :-)

Fuel Pressure Regulator by
Jim C[_2_]
In the spirit of the last thread *not* rehashing the air filter
question, I wanted to throw out something old. The last question I
put out there, someone challenged me back with the point that I should
have a plan and he's right. However, the next step on my plan will
cost a couple bucks, I'm...

662 HP Burnout by

But why can't they feature a real one -- no holding the brakes? Wish
they would have shown the white car's burnout instead.

What's with missing grills? by
[email protected]
I just bought a 97 GT (please read my "shudder" post too) and the front
grill was missing. No biggie, but every time I see a similar Mustang I
walk up to it to see what the grill looks like and EVERY TIME their
grill has been missing too! What's going on? Is there some roving gang
that swipes...

GT intake manifold crack by
C Miller
Well the intake manifold cracked on my 98 GT right behind the alternator -
I found a TSB on it and talked to some locals that knew about it too, but
the dealer is looking at the VIN and saying "doesn't apply to your car". -
Can anyone else who has had this problem let me know how they handled...

How high is too high? by
Steve Forrester
If I am going to lift the front-end of my 93 Mustang GT by placing a floor
jack under one of the lower A arms, how high (i.e., by measuring the
distance from the ground to the bottom of the tire) can I lift the vehicle
without causing any damage? (My intention is then to use the floor jack...

Trade 92 lx 5.0 for a 91 SHO by

Ok, I ask for an unbiased opinion here, this being the mustang
newsgroup.
Me: 1992 LX 5.0, no options, former California patrol car
111,000 miles. Exterior has hood and front fascia damage. hood needs
replaced along with all weatherstripping. driver side door has
problems. needs paint job. ...

FLAT ROCK, Mich., July 1, 2005 -- Employees at the AutoAlliance

'87 by
Rod Williams
Today my '87 Mustang when I shifted gears, with the clutch in, the RPM
actually went up before hitting the next gear. I stopped at a
stop sign and at a dead stop the RPM went up to 2200 and wouldn't come
down. Stopped at another stop sign, and the same thing. Shut it off,
restarted and it was fine....

Subframe connectors or window adjustments? by
Chuck
In searching for subframe connectors (google) I see a wide variety..
I have a '96 coupe with no go fast options.
Will subframe connectors make a difference in body flex?
Is the something you have done at body shop (as I'd assume you'd want
to make sure everything is level/flat to begin with.)

Ford was nice to me by
RichA
When I got my Mach-1, there was a
mutation on the front fender. The edge
where the lip of the bezel around the
headlight assembly met was malformed.
Not by much. I took it in to Ford
and they bent it to shape, but it
cracked the paint. So, they ordered in
the paint to do the fender.
It took...
