The great American pe nis machine by Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B[_2_]
I'm driving my Supra in New Hampshire, and for some reason they saw fit to put roundabouts in the middle of Keene. I come up to one, and there is a car already entered to my left, so I wait. All of a sudden I hear, "What the hell are you WAITING for?!?!?" I look and there's a black corvette, about...

Tire Pressure Monitor by Luke
I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS-V (w/ Corvette Z06 LS-6 engine). Recently, I had my tires rotated, and now the display for the tire pressure is wrong. It reports the pressure for the back tires as the front tires. The Cadillac dealer wants $15 to "recalibate" the system, but I'd like to do myself....

Looks like the "conspiracy theories" really were true after all... by [email protected]
Most people don't know that there were actually 3 buildings which came crashing down on the day of 9/11. The third building, WTC 7, can be seen here http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7750532340306101329 There is no mention of this building in 911 Omission Report. Can fire make a building...

Estimated hours for minor fiberglass work - are you serious?! by Eric Rizzo
I just was at a large body shop yesterday to get an estimate to repair the front tip of my C3. I scraped up about a softball-sized area right on the point of the nose (a couple of pictures at http://www.rizzoweb.com/photos/CorvetteDamage/) I almost fell out of my chair when the estimator told me...

This Is Ridiculous!!! Isn't It??? by Robotron Tom
I had a miss throughout the RPM range and MPG dropped. I started by replacing the coil: no change. I purchased new OEM plug wires and Bosch Platinum +4 plugs and started installing them. Huge pain to do, I must admit. I got the 4 pass side wires on and new plugs in #2 and #4 cylinders: no change....

Failed Inspection - 90 Vette by Empty3
Anybody help me pinpoint the problem. 90 Vette Coupe, 120,000 miles. Houston Tx: CO2 state emission allowance failed at both low speed and high speed.\ I have heard tapping noise from the passenger side of the valve covers (possible lifter), would this cause CO2 emissions? This could also be a...

1987 Power antenae problem by Luke Brennan
Last week I pulled into my garage and turned off my '87 coupe. The power antenae motor was running, trying to put the antenae back down, but it was not going down. I gave it a push, it went down, and the motor quit running. I forgot about it until yesterday, when I started the car and...

already been hit by TF
I park out in the middle of the parking lots and try to turn my back on it as little as possible, but some jealous f did it anyway. Left frot, 18" scuff mostly on the front, with many scratches that went thru the paint. On the horizontal/verticle curve and you can see where part of the body around...

How long have you owned your current Corvette? by Barking Rats
Just out of curiosity, I'd like to hear how long folks have owned their current Corvette. To start the ball rolling, I bought my '67 from a PA State Trooper going through a divorce in '79. Wow, hard to believe it's been 26 years we've been together - lasted longer by far than *his* marriage. :)...

unfnbeleivable by TF
I took my new 04 into the local dealership and get it back with a quarter sized chunk out of the passenger side rocker panel. Apparently, they ran the lift into it. They said that they can get a new panel prepainted from the factory. Is this true? Or are they going to repaint the whole panel? I do...

What tailgaters deserve by Sal
http://www.videosift.com/video/What-should-be-done-to-tailgaters If life was fair cops would drag tailgaters out of their cars and beat them within an inch of their lives instead of just tasering college students and beating up minorities. What would be even better is if you were in a car being...
