Californian busybody telling Canada about cars by RichA
They are pushing for higher pollution control standards and fuel efficiency big time. With the move toward bigger engines wanted by consumers, and larger vehicles for the most part, this is obviously difficult. What I do not want is legislation forcing people in Canada to drive tiny, fuel...

New Gotta-Have-It Green by [email protected][_2_]
I like the school-bus yellow, but this green... not so much. http://www.mustangheaven.com/2011/gotta-have-it-green-paint-for-the-2013-mustang-boss-302-gets-spied/#more-8732 I applaud Ford for offering a different/new color, but this isn't what I had in mind. Ford only needs to look to Dodge and...

Pinging by
Car is pinging every new and then at full throttle... maybe 1/5 times. It's very unnerving. Also, I'm losing about a 1/4 of a quart of oil every 3k miles. I'm going to clean the air filter today, clean sensors, I already replaced EGR valve. What else would you recommend I do? Thanks in...

21st Century Goat vs Mustang Shootout by [email protected]
NATALIE NEFF Pontiac likes to lay claim to the title of original muscle car with its GTO, and while that first 1964 model was more a big-engined Tempest than a pure Goat, we're hardly one to quibble over the finer points. What is definitive to our minds, however, is this: It would be at least a...

1998 Ford Mustang Cobra Signature Series. by [email protected]
I just purchased a 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra Signature Series and am looking for information on it. The dealership told me it was one of 500. Is there a number somewhere on the car that states this? Also I am looking for specs on HP and the engine/trans. Thanks for your help, TC

Checking In by A Guy Named Steve
Will Ulmer just noticed Dwight disappeared from Facebook - and then posted some of the RAMFM decals (yes, these were a thing). So I thought I'd stop back by and noticed that it looks like Patrick hasn't been here in a long time either. I still haven't had a Mustang in about 15 years. I'm always...

1993 Mustang "Transition Phase"!? by A Guy Named Steve
"Everything about this stang is a cobra minus the emblem on the side." Well, that and it's obviously an AOD car, has a standard 5.0 intake, all the stuff that's hidden from view of these photos, and oh yeah... you're full of it! http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/3296902118.html

Ford gets a clue by Michael Johnson
I have been blasting Ford for abandoning their long time model names like the Cougar, Thunderbird and, most of all, the Taurus. Now it appears that Alan Mulally (Ford's new CEO) is wondering the same thing I have been. This guy might be showing some...

Why people talk **** about Oklahoma... by 2.3Sleeper
No, not some funny email. Just my random thoughts. People get this image of Oklahoma because we are prone to tornado's. So are about 15 other states. Thing is, we have had a few bad ones...and one damn movie, so people stick us with that. For some reason, they put the most redneck ass people on...

William Clay Ford Jr. - Not your great-grandfather's Ford. by Grover C. McCoury III
By Daniel Gross for Slate 4/14/05 Last week, Ford Motor Co. showed all the signs of a once-great company in distress: a sharply reduced earnings forecast, a credit-rating cut, and a sliding stock. Ford has been here before, most recently in early 2003. The latest run of bad news may represent...
