opinions needed by
biofilm
what about buying a used 2011 or 2012 mustang gt 8 cyl, manual and then
getting a suprecharger put on ?
about 28k (some only 6,000 miles) + 7k + some labor 2k
if ford did it, would they guarentee the motor and transmission?
if I put Keene bell I could save the labor.
Ideas? comments ?

I love Mustangs, but there are also a few other cars ... by
Dickr
Summertime in Minnesota and many "garage" cars are out on the street.
I noticed a beautiful custom 1953 Chev 2 dr sedan at a local strip mall.
When the owner started that puppy, I knew it didn't have the original
6 cyl engine. Nasty! I've also seen a beautiful 63 split window Corvette
coupe and a...

Lincoln to get a Mustang by
[email protected][_2_]
Okay, sort of. Seems there's a chance parts from the next-gen Mustang
could be the basis of a new RWD (thank goodness!) Lincoln. Who
wouldn't want to see that?
Now if Lincoln could only figure out what a Lincoln is supposed to
look...

Today's visit to the Ford showroom by
Dickr
I brought my Flex in to the local Ford dealer for routine maintenance,
and while
waiting, I checked out some of the cars in the showroom. There was a
Boss 302
Mustang that made me salivate, but the price tag of 58K made it one of those
"in your dreams" cars. Now, where the heck did I put my...

Ford Returns With a Worthy Pocket Rocket by
[email protected][_2_]
Not since the old Focus SVT has Ford offered a very good sport
compact. It's nice to see Ford expanding into markets it
REALLY needs to be in -- and offering a class-leading product!
Oh, and note the horsepower and performance numbers. This little
sucker...

Sign on for "Progessive Insurance's" Big-Brother ride-along by
RichA
Yes, all you have to do to get that mythical 30% redux in car
insurance costs is ride with a little Progressive data recorder in
your car. It will measure and report, all aspects of your driving.
P.S.,you won't get any major reduction. P.P.S., they WILL use the
data (and share it) if you deviate...

The 302 engines - digging way back in my brain cells by
Dickr
I remember the first Camaro Z28 in 1969 was a 302, and that was the limit
for (I think) Trans Am racing. Many other 302s followed including the
new Boss
302 Mustang.
Then there's the 5.0 badge that's been on Mustangs for many years.
The question for today is:
Since 5 liters = 305 cu. in., is the...

472 Feet, 5 Inches of Burnout by
[email protected][_2_]
That's burnout length the new GT500 is capable of, and according to
the article this makes the latest snake the new record holder.

How Super Will This Year's Super Snake Be? by
[email protected][_2_]

More HP and less weight = terrific!! Love to see something less than 3,300 with HP around 800, add launch control and sticky tires and you'd have a Mustang John Force would feel at home in.

negative charges out the other by
Youdidnt buildthat
BHs are simply standing wave vortices that suck
matter in and separate its charges. The rapid
spin sends positive charges out the axis of spin
one way and negative charges out the other.

Death to ethanol! by
RichA
It is of no value. It has raised corn prices (and all the myriad
foods associated with it) by 100% over 1.5 years. It scours engine
components of their protective oil layer. It dries out seals. It
should be abolished.

Had to share - our Flex vs the Porsche... by
John S.[_1_]
Ok... just had to share this fun little video I made last week of our Ford Flex EcoBoost running against a Porsche Cayman S. The Porsche owner did come over afterwords to ask me "What the hell did you do to that thing?" LOL! Think he was a bit shocked and disappointed his new Porsche lost to a...
