Nearly inoperable window by
JM[_3_]
I replaced the inner/outer scrapers and felt channel on the driver's
door of my 1969 standard Beetle. The inner scraper was a cheap
nightmare on which the clips broke if you looked at them wrong.
Almost as cheap were the $1.75 felt channel clips. I'm glad I bought
twice as many as I needed. I...

non-repeat feature of ignition switch not working by
Scott H[_2_]
A while back I replaced the ignition switch in my '72 with the one from my
parts car. Now with the `new' one, the non-repeat function doesn't work.
Is this something in the switch that is bad? Or is there something else
somewhere that I need to check?
Thanks.

some lights work after re-wiring by
[email protected]
After recently purchasing a 1969 beetle I decided to rewire the
whole thing. I bought the harness from mid-america and am completely
happy with it. The directions are easy to follow along with the
Bently manual. Only one typo found. The rear running light wires
should be switched around. The...

'71 Beetle, broken lower ball-joint by
Tell
Hi. Quite a boo-boo on my bug recently. The passenger lower ball-joint
simply split into two pieces, one piece still attatched to the torsion
arm, the other on the steering knuckle. Any advice on how to replace
this would be much appreciated. I have found a tool on JCWhitney's
website for...

2) Has any one had expierence painting these tops?
Exactly...

is a SVDA? The brand is CARDONE - anyone have experience with one of these?
I have the 009/34PICT3 setup now & am trying to improve the hesitation...

P.O.R. 15 Where can I buy locally? by
fenderjw
I've read about using P.O.R. 15 products to remove rust and re-coat my
gas tank but where can I buy the stuff locally? I've seen the online
site where I can buy it, but do any of the big box stores carry it
too?
Thanks
Jim
