My friend's vette front spring split and had to be replaced. We would like to know if others have had similar problems?

2001 convertable 6sp I was comming in on a remote section of dual lane seperated hwy(3am ish) and had this Camaro bugging me for 8 miles to race.. I finally jumpped on it and pulled really hard to about 125. It just seemed to top out??? I have dynoed it at 313hp? Car is stock and the first time...

I have a 2001 C5 m6, the active handling light has come on, and message of service soon. I have noticed it is in some half way working issue. I got on it a bit, and did noticed it was cutting back on the engine, but did allow other slippage.. so some part was trying to, and not to work. Strange...
