Tiger CDI Free (there's a catch!) by Busahaulic
Anybody want a new but not functioning Tiger CDI for free? I suspect it probably has a cold solder joint somewhere in it or something as simple. I have not opened it up. I dod not know how to be safe around capacitors and suspect that this thing may have enough capacity to restart Jimmy...

John S - You want that CHT Gauge? by Busahaulic
I'm still holding that quad CHT gauge for you John. You get first grabs at it otherwise it's going to the group... It's a Westach quad cylinder head temp gauge that shows all 4 CHT's at the same time on the same gauge. It's the only system that actually works if you're serious about catching a...

free parts to good home by David
I am replacing my wife's 1500 single port engine in her buggy with a new Mexican long block. I have 2 single port heads, crank w/ connecting rods, cam and flywheel, that are going to end up in the trash unless somebody wants them for the cost of shipping or free to pick-up in Delaware. The engine...

VW sightings in the movies by cloud8
Last night I watched Hitchcock's Vertigo (1958). The one where acrophobic Jimmy Stewart follows the mystery lady up the tower of a mission church. Not only are the cars more interesting than the actors in this movie, but it is probably the only movie ever made in which the lead character drives a...

Hey folks, Quick question...about once every couple of days, my normally fine feeling brake pedal will go to the floor once with no resistance and no braking action, but the next pump will be fine...and it will be normal acting for a couple days. In the past couple years, I have replaced all the...

Brazilian taillight lenses by Busahaulic
I bough a set of taillight assemblies. They were Brazilian. They didn't fit very well. I figured they were still better than the decaying stuff I had, so I made 'em fit. I used my good German lense on one side, the new Brazilian one on the other. In two years, the Brazilian yellow lense has almost...
