It is evident that the info about the Avanti comes from people that know
their Studes.
While having a discussion with a friend he mentioned that Studebaker
made a couple models which were Front Wheel drive, he thinks they were

About 20 years ago I remember seeing a called called "Mercur" ( not sure
of spelling) I saw a numbe rof them come down from Canada. I often
wondered were they a "German Ford" ? They were a nice looking car. 4
door.I looked around the net and did not find anything.

This museum is in Reno, Nevada, and I went lookin' for Bill Harrah's
Ferrari's. However, I was told that they were sold at auction by Holiday Inn
after his death (Bill Harrah's death, not Enzo's). By a good stroke of luck,
this Jerrari was in the museum, making my trip worth the time.
