Anyone here with an E65 fitted with factory mud flaps? Strange thing is that they are really meaty and solid bit of rubber riveted onto the wings/fenders and rear bumper however, the side that fit to the body and flare outwards to match the wheel width are stuck to the car with double-sided sticky...

That old BMW vs. porcupine joke thing again by nopcbs
In this week's Autoweek a columnist who has recently been driving with only one eye (presumably some medical problem) and hence more attentively than he had been with both eyes functioning, laments how he has noticed what jerks most BMW drivers (he puts the figure at 90% of us in the CA locales...

resetting service interval lights, 88 528e by Frank H
Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help me here. Can I reset the service interval lights myself, using a jumper at the diagnostic connector, or do I have to get this done at the dealer? I do all my own service work, but I do not have this gadget. Thanks for any useful responses... Cheers, Frank

E46 battery by adder1969
Hi, I've seen people ask in the past, so I'm posting here incase anyone is interested. You can fit the 350ish mm long high capacity 019 style battery in an E46 instead of the smaller 096. My 019 is 100Ah and 900CCA compared to the 75Ah and 680CCA of the 096.
