M5 or M3? by daz
Hi, I recently posted asking if the M5 was worth the extra over other higher end 5 series and I know that I won't be happy with my next BMW unless it has the M badge on it. However now I'm not so sure about the pros and cons of M5 v M3. Of course the M3 is still holding it's value at around £42k...

Hot Import Nights Miami Beach Pictures & Videos by Paul Michaels
I went to the Hot Import Nights event at the Miami Beach Convention Center not expecting to see any Beemers in the crowd of Japanese imports but there were at least a few really nice custom BMWs in the mix. It was $30 to get in and the show went from 5pm to 12 midnight. I took about 150 pictures...

My radar detector hasn't beeped since I got this new 2008 328i. Every once in a rare while, the lights will flash but hardly ever. I have it mounted inside the windshield in the center below the rear view mirror about 3 inches above the dash. My car was in the shop last week and they gave...

Greetings, 1995 525i, 200,000 miles... Before I break out the Bentley and the voltmeter, I thought I'd ask if anyone has experienced this before. While cruising on highway (75 mph) I first noticed power seemed to "drop out" for a second, car began to slow, RPMs dropped down and erratic in...

Next ??? 325 vs 330 by Jack[_16_]
Since I got so much good info on the "leather vs vinyl" post, my next one is 325 vs 330. I'm looking at an 05 or 06 3 series. Is there any other "real" differences between them except the engines ?? Not that it matters, but I'm looking for a coupe. The plan is to head down to Florida in a few...

Hello BMW owners, I have 1999 323i, with regular bulb-lamps for its lights (headlights, signal, tail lights). I know there is an option to replace the headlight with halogen -- but I was wondering, I see that there are LED lights to replace regular bulbs for flash lights and some lamps for home. ...

Today I phoned my local BMW agent for an oil change on my X 5. I put less than 5K miles a year, I do an extra oil change (before the inspection lights come on). The earliest date they could give me in September 28, that is more than a month away...I realize oil change is not an urgent repair, but...
