opinions ? 1999 328 by [email protected]
I'm considering a 1999 328i with a little over 100K on the odometer. The car looked, drove and felt like a dream. Appeared very well maintained. Any opinions on this model/year ? I'm a bit shy about buying given the reputation of high repair cost and would like a few exper opinions.. thanks

Tire squirm by thepixelfreak
So where I live the roads tend to get 'runnels' or channels from progressive use of the road. I find that my 2001 e46 330Ci tends to squirm around in these excessively. I _think_ this is because the front tires are 225 width while the rear are 245 and this difference causes this squirming...

Do xenon lights fade with age? by Ikke
Hi everybody, About five years ago, I bought a new BMW E46 320d with xenon lights. After the latest service (at around 100k kms) I've noticed a lot less light in front of me when I'm driving in the dark. It's a bit weird - when I first got my car, I'd see a large area of bright light in front...

xenons by Mario M
I have just replaced the front right xenon light bulb on my e60 BMW. And after I turned on the lights it was obvious that the light wasn't blue but rather bright yellow? Now, the seller convinced me that the xenon bulb is the same as before and that it will turn to blue after some 100 hours of...

Häkki heilahti rikolliselle by Atro Rautiainen
*Jälleen kerran on syytä tuoda esille sitä faktaa, erttä ydinvoima on menneisyyden tekniikkaa ja tällaiset alla olevat mm. päästöttömän polton laitokset tulevat VARSIN nopsaan syrjäyttämään ydinvoiman kaikilla keskeisillä sektoreillaan. Shutting the windows by Jono[_2_]
Hello, What do I have to do to be able to shut the windows with the remote on my 2003 E46? I can happily open all the windows by holding down the unlock switch on the remote....but cannot close them. I can see an occasional need to open them; I need to shut them more often, though.

Idle Control Valve by Anyroadup
Problem with this on my E38. I have cleaned it pretty well, difficult to get inside, but still plays up when warm, not hot or cold. Is this faulty or in need of a more thorough clean.

E30 power windows wiring by Yvan
I fitted power windows to my '87 E30 from a wrecked car. I followed wiring diagram I have, and now I can only open or close the windows while ignition is on. I added fuse #17, but there is +12V (from the unloader relay K5) only when ignition is ON. Is this how it is suppose to be? It seems wrong...

318i ignition problem by Laurak4
I'm having a problem with my 96' 318i. When I start my car the steering wheel stays locked and I have to wiggle a few times to get it loose(I'm afraid to keep doing that, I don't want to break anything). It only does this after I start it. I'm thinking it is the ignition switch. Am I right? ...
