Locking engine mount bolt by Anthony W
I've been looking for but can't find those locking engine mount bolts. I've finally finished the perpetual project engine and I'm getting ready to stuff it into my Baja bug. I don't want some one to be able to easily steal my expensive engine, any ideas on this? Tony Geezer biker in Portland, OR

Hello fellow VW lovers!! I have a 1971 VW Bug Convertible that I've had for quite a few years, and it's time for at least a partial restoration. I'm going to get it painted and put in new floor pans and the big piece of sheet metal that goes behind the back seat (because there is quite a bit of...

Hood Seal Channel - Need Pic by Lee
Never mind. Cruising through the neighborhood tody, I saw a resto in a guy's garage, and I stopped and looked at it. If anyone cares, the seal channel just stops a the top of the corner, and starts again at the bottom. The seal takes care of itself, with no channel in the corner itself.

Many thanks to all who offered help on fuel pump/engine dying by watson524
Thanks to all who offered help on my engine dying after fuel pump replacement issue. We drained the oil/gas that was in the case, cleaned out the air filter and it's running as normal now! So glad that it wasn't something terribly worse. Thanks again!

I'm sure some of you are familiar with the TV show Pinks. It is a reality show based on street racing. Participents race each other with the final winner owning both cars (racin for pinks). Well, Lo-Cash John had an idea for the VW community to donate parts to build a car, and if we won to sell...
