FA: White M1 trunk lid with blue stripes by
pws[_1_]
I was tempted to put this on my red miata, figuring on about a 5 hp
increase from the rear photon effect pushing the car, but I decided
against it. :-)
The lid is in very good condition. It has been repainted white on white
but was never damaged, plus it has two blue racing stripes that don't...

Thanks.

STRUT DUST BOOTS by
Chris D'Agnolo
Guys, It seems like everyone wants a fortune for these dust boots for miata
shocks. This vendor charges less than $9 a piece (at least for 1999 ver).
Most of the time I see these for $15 to $25 a piece which seems highway
robbery for something so...

I took the plunge by
Doug Wilson
Last evening, I brought home a 2006 Miata Sport, six-speed manual, Nordic
Green, with the suspension package.
I realize it's not going to be as quick as a white one, but now that the NC
State Highway Patrol has brought BMW motorcycles up here to the area for
patrol duty, I'm sure it'll be quick...

Hello by
Chris D'Agnolo
Been out of the loop for awhile (computer problems) came back tonight and
thought I was connected to the Automotive History Channel Newsgroup!
Nice stuff guys, hand cranks, 2CV's, MG's, and on and on. Cool stuff!
My hand crank experience is limited to 4cyl propane engines on terrazzo
grinders!...

Differences between the LE, SE, Etc. by
Doug
Just bought a beautiful 2002 LE with 21k miles. I'm wondering if there
is one comprehensive source of information on the differences between
the various models in each model year. Just want to build up my
overall knowledge of Miata's!

Clutch questions by
[email protected]
In the last two weeks my 95 Miata (153K miles) becomes extremely
difficult to get in gear. Reverse being so impossible that I generally
will just push it myself so I don't have to "deal with it". Once it
gets warmed up it gets easier but R is still hard. There is very
little resistance in the...

miata power window motor weight by
pws
Since we were discussing the weight of the power window motors, I
decided to go ahead and weigh one since I am gutting a few doors to
auction the parts.
It comes out to a little under two pounds for the motor alone.
So, the power windows are adding about 3.5 pounds total to the weight of
a miata...

Low rough idle. by
Roland Smith
My '90 (short nose crank) miata suddenly developed a low stumbling idle
(200 to 500 rpms) with intermittant surges to 1,500 rpms and then back to
stumbling. It runs smoothly at anything above 1,500 rpms and pulls hard
to redline through the gears.
The end of the crankshaft seems to still be...

Cat Back Exhaust by
Christopher Muto
My muffler has blown out. It was from a cat back job done by Midas by the
previous owner three years ago. It sounds like a tough little car now but I
want to replace it with something close to stock. Any recommendations on
what to get? I see ANSA mufflers on Ebay for cheap and wonder if anyone...

Synthetic vs. Regular Brake Fluid by
Wileyman
I am changing out the rubber brake lines with stainless steel on my '90
Miata and need to bleed the entire brake system. Trying to decide if I
should go with a synthetic brake fluid like Valvoline or a regular DOT
3/4 like Castrol GT/LMA. All input is appreciated.

MazdaSpeedMx5=£25k=$46k HollyMolllleeey!!(UK-London) The Motherland prices Suck! by
RepoRealEstateInvestor
I wanted to trade Miatas aka Mx5s in USA for UK or France or Germany or
Spain for 1-3 months! Like trading homes! Too many taxes/fees/red tape
between borders! YUK!
USA is super cheap vs. EU! (car, gas, rentals, etc.)
Kinda like LA&NY vs. Texas in terms of Home prices($600k vs. $100k)

reviews of 07 MX-5? by
JohnR66
I've seen a few reviews but wonder about how good the head lights are and
history of the miata's drop top (leaks, cracks forming). Never owned a
convertible before. I wonder how hard it is to drop/raise the top? I'm in
the US (Midwest). I wonder if the car's a too hot seller for any...
