Off Topic: She's late for work! by Airman
Hi, I have a question here that I would like to bring to the attention to the newsgroup. I'm new to the "working world" here so I don't know what the unwritten rule is, or even if there is one. You see, I work alone for so many hours. Anyways without getting into specifics, after my 8 hours are...

I Need to Get on the FasTrak by [email protected]
'Sup Dave, I live up in the Bay Area. I signed up for FasTrak about a year ago, and it has made for an easier driving experience, when using the toll bridges up here. It really does save time at the Bay Bridge toll plaza, where you can shave about 5 to 7 minutes off the 30 minute - 1 hour...

Mercedes mix-up ends in charges for attorney by Doug
I had to laugh when I read this in today's paper. http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/113-04082006-638550.html Basically, a lawyer was too drunk to realize he was not driving his car, but a judge's car. Doug

LIDAR Trial this Week by [email protected]
I live in Massachusetts and got stopped for speeding on a major highway where the speed trap was suddenly set to 30 mph. The trooper used a LIDAR unit and I'm contesting it. At least I'm going for a judicial hearing, which is the end of this week. I'm impressed with the strategy in the e-book,...

Getting rid of smoking smells by Ignasi.
What are people's experiences with getting rid of smoking smells in cars' interiors? I have found an almost ideal used car that I want to buy (2000 BMW 323it, manual, sport pkg, black with tan leather, 55 kmiles) but it stinks. I'm very hesitant to get it as I'm not sure I could get completely rid...
