Eagle Vision losing its cool. by Zentraleinheit[_3_]
I have a 96 Eagle Vision TSI with about 82000 miles that seems to look it coolant every 3 or so months. For example, 2 days ago, as I exited the Vision, I heard a (for lack of a better term) "****ing" sound. That is when I discovered coolant exiting (at high speed) the overflow tube. I let the...

04 TC grey leather seats by yappy
My 04 TC has 2nd row bucket seats with two tone "leather". I was looking at the sticker and it said "leather-trimmed" seats. What does that mean? The reason being that the seats have cracked, even though I cleaned and conditioned w/ leather cleaner every 3-4 months. Is there somewhere online...

Two oil warning lights on '84 Reliant? by William R. Walsh
I had the car parked just so the sun was shining through the rear window when I happened to notice something. There is a row of three indicator lamps between the speedometer and fuel/charge/water temp gauges. On my car they are unused--the bottom two being for "door open" and "gate open". The...

RUMOR CONTROL: The notoriously bad Ultradrive caused by Iacocca's bladder? by CallingLee'sBluff
There's a rumor that has been circulating since the '80s about the 4 speed A-604 "Ultradrive" disaster that slung mud on CC at a time when it didn't need it. Pro-Chrysler forces blamed the oil companies and GM's roll-out of Dexron II, whereas the 7176E Chrsyler spec (ATF+3) was the only option for...

Impressed with Dodge Caliber by No Name
We have had a Dodge Caliber SXT for one month now, having traded in a 2005 PT Cruiser Convertible, and are very impressed with the quality and gas mileage of the vehicle. We have never gotten below 25 and so far have almost gotten 30 on a short trip to Kennedy Space Center. The car is very...

I recently purchased a used 1995 Stratus ( 146,000 miles )the guy that sold it to me said the idle was erratic (anywhere from 1000 to 2500 rpm). It got better after replacing the TPS and checking vacuum lines. But the main problem I'm having is severe vibration when the vehicle is in Drive. In...

Delay to start by Mike Y
While driving my girlfriends 2002 Grand Cherokee, sometimes the system would refuse to start. I'd have to take the key out, hit the 'unlock' button, then try again. Once or twice I noticed a 'security' light on the dash as well, but it's not a big deal. Yesterday something new happened. I went...

Intermitant Window Failure by JR[_3_]
In last few months the electric window (driver's side only)on my 01 Chrysler van will not close or open further. I don't remember it ever failing to open from the closed position however. Sometimes it will work again in a few minutes, or hours or days. Of course when I brought it in, it started...

For reasons beyond me, the wife wrapped the seat belt on the passenger's side around the back of the headrest on our PT Cruiser. Now, it is locked, wrapped around the headrest. Is there any sort of release for the belt locking mechanism? Or perhaps a way to remove the headrest so we can get it...
