Rear haedrest E36 1995 by Andy
Hi I have a BMW E36 320i 1995 and I want to put rear headrest in. Are the front headrest the same as rear? I can't find any rear headrest that match but I have found a set of front ones. Will they fit and look OK in the back? Thanks

I have done a search for a service manual for my 1999 323is, and the results come back with this: BMW 3 Series (E36) Service Manual: 1992-1998 I have not found any years that include 1999. (Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I did look on the Robert Bentley website.) Is this the...

Hi, I have the knocking heater valve noise which comes up on this forum occasionally and though I understand it is harmless I do want to consider replacing it. Does anyone have information on the degree of difficulty in doing this for a weekend mechanic? thanks in advance, Eric

feedback solution re air con warm in foot well by Jon Manley
Well, do I feel stoooooopid!!!!!! (530i Sport, 2001 UK) I subsequently noticed that the rear passenger fan (at rear of centre console) had its dial set to hot, hot, hot. Simply changing this seemed to solve my lil 'ole problem. Now the air in the driver and passenger footwells is coming out nice...

Fuel problems with a 1993 BMW 318is by MunkyFuzz
I have a problem with my car that no one can seem to fix. The car dies unless you hold the gas pedal down at a steady RPM. Also the exhaust gets so hot it glows red and shoots out flames. There is still a hint of gas in the exhaust fumes. I had a diagnostic ran on it and it said it was running...

Ok...you know that plastic stip that covers the slot on the center console that moves when you select a gear? Well mine has been missing for some time now and I finally decided to replace it. I was wondering, will this be a tedious affair? It's an older 525, 92 to be exact and the interior is nice...

E36 saloon side skirts by Dodgy
Hi all, I'm after some side skirts for an E36 Saloon. I'm really after the boring normal ones that were usually fitted to the SE, but all I can find are the M3 style ones which have an extra go-faster swept groove in them. They're very nice I'm sure, but my 325TDS isn't going to be fooling anyone!...
