engine tin by Bas
Hi all, I was cleaning some engine tin today when I noticed that this piece of "sled tin" has a hole in it. See: http://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00091tl8.jpg The hole is located under the thermostat and looks to be factory made, but I don't understand its purpose? The engine it was...

More Mario by AircooledJohn
It sickens me to see him still trolling RAMVA for new victims. Here's an e-mail I got from a recent victim. Newbs read his posts on RAMVA and just read enough to think he's good at restorations, but do not read further to see Mario's history. "Hey there, I was reading around on the samba, and...

Front end shimmy by curly[_2_]
I was out driving my '68 bug when I went over some pretty bumpy railway tracks at about 50kmh. The front of the car started to shimmy and shake to the point I thought I had broke something. I slowed down to investigate and the shimmying stopped. I haven't had it since and can't figure out what...

Any news on Speedy ? by [email protected]
Has anyone heard how Speedy Jim came out of his surgery ? Up until now I tried not to post and ask as he didn't mention it on this newsgroup but damn, I'm kind of worried as I haven't heard any updates since he went into the hospital and he did mention it on his website. Randy
