Reversing Trailing Arms by
Cal-Look
I have seen a couple IRS Bugs where the shock mount and the stop mount were
removed from the right trailing arm and welded back to the left and vise-a-
versa so the arms and plates can be moved to the opposite side, for
lowering the rear end without camber issues. Can anyone direct me to a
site...

oil leak? by
D&LBusch
I have a 79 SB with an oil drip. Yes I know "VW's mark their spots."
Anyway I rebuilt the motor awhile back and it has been leaking ever since I
reinstalled it. It's not the case, or the heads, or the push rod tubes. My
guess is the oil cooler. It doesn't drop much oil and is more of an...

I have some light scratches in one of my windows and I was wondering if
there's anything I can use to buff them out so they're less noticeable?
Thanks, Dave

Best way to lower a bay? by
Gareth Edwards
Would this be to use dropped spindles and some shorter shocks on the front,
and turn the spring plates on the back? Would this give me a good ride? I
am not looking to get the van right on the floor, but just to lower it
around 2 inches so that it sits a little nicer, and still get a nice ride...

I just got back from Vegas where I went to view the Imperial Palace auto
collection. They have some awesome VW's there, real show pieces mixed
among the Rolls Royce and American Muscle cars. They have one VW (1974
super) that has only 80 original miles with the dealer sticker still on
it. It...
