Don't Sell Your Car!! Make More by DONATING!! by wm
There is a charitable organization that can give you a much bigger tax deduction than the value of your car!!!! They do it by structuring a lease of the vehicle and have you donate both the car AND THE LEASE!! You see, a long-term lease is worth MUCH more than the car itself!! Email...

Replica BMW M1 by Sandy Forsyth
I owned a 5 series and several 3 series back when I lived in South Africa. Most people there (especially BMW owners) think the national speed limit of 120km/h is more of a guide than a real limit - 120 km/h means if you can't do more than 120, you shouldn't be on the road... I haven't got the money...

E65 Assist number by Paul Aspinall
Hi I have an E65 in the UK. I understand that there is already a GSM system installed, with a SIM card, for use with BMW assist, as well as the other GSM SIM which is used for the phone. Is this correct?? ie. 2 GSM systems (although 1 is only to be used for BMW Assist etc).

FS: BMW winter tire and rim package by Kevin Oberle
Howdy, I hope this isn't an inappropriate posting for this group, my apologies if it is. We recently traded our E46 325Ci for a 330Ci. We had purchased a winter tire package from our local BMW dealer (in Waterloo, Ontario) for the 325, but the rims won't fit the 330's larger brakes. So they're...

Cough, splutter. Suggestions? by Doug Main
E34 M5. Engine fires and idles OK but runs very rough after about 2000 RPM almost as if it's cutting out. Under light throttle load, it kicks and bucks, but as the car warms up, it gets better. About 5 mins after reaching normal operating temp, it runs as normal. It feels electrical, as opposed...

1993 525i - power locks unlocking themselves by Stewart
Just picked up a 1993 525i in great shape, but a few things slipped by my inspection. Most importantly, the locks have a tendancy to unlock themselves. If I lock them while I'm in the car, they may immediately pop back up, or they might pop up some minutes later. Sometimes they'll go up and down...

So I replaced the batteries in my 1995 BMW540I key fobs (2 CR2016 batteries), one works fine while the other no longer operates the car (the LED does flash) wireless. Note the batteries were only out of the fob about 15 seconds. There must be a method / procedure to synchronize the key fob to the...
