Vag-Com Software Help by
Anybody use Vag-Com software often or at all? I bought a KKL USB for my '00 Audi A4 Quattro and I hooked it up and got some fault codes. The thing is it wouldn't let me reset the codes. Is there away to get around paying the couple hundred bucks? Appreciate it.

Audi TT Coupe Heated Rear Screen by Tom Pedersen
Are the top three elements supposed to work, they do not on my TT. I note that there are two vertical wires in the middle of the screen from the bottom to the top which do note take in the top three elements. Are they cosmetic only? Thanks Tom

climatcontrol problem. by Peter Smeets
Thank you for reading this. I own a A4 TDI (2002). My climatcontrol stops working after a few hours driving. It's a serious problem because the view is soon blocked and I have to open the windows. Does anyone recognioze this problem? If that's the case what did you do about it? Thanks.

Bought used A4 without key tag--am I screwed? by [email protected]
So, I got a good deal (so I thought ) on a 2004 A4. When I signed the check and went to get the car, the dealer hands me the non-remote key. That's all they had, they say. (This wasn't an Audi dealer) I bought an uncut remote key on ebay--but then I realized I don't have the keytag either. Am I...

Power loss on 2001 S4 by John F. Carr
This morning was the coldest of the winter so far after a moderate ice storm over the weekend. Driving my 2001 S4 to work I noticed occasional power loss. Keeping a constant pressure on the gas I would feel occasional slight deceleration. Idle was steady. Maximum power acceleration may have...

Exhaust F/Up! Mystery? by Shimbo
I recently encountered a guy who was not happy with the performance of his A6/18T. So he removed the exhaust catalitic converter and installed a straight section at that point. Now the engine has a rattle. No loose retainer bolts or anything. It sounds like a bit of mettal oddly rolling around in a...

Multiple Electrical Woes After water ingress. A6 Avant 1.8T by Ian Gaskell
Lots of rain recently. Came out to my car, sat in and put my feet in about 2 inches of water. Opened bonnet and the battery chamber was almost full to overflowing. Managed to push out a grommet in the vicinity of the battery to drain it & eventually got water out from front & rear driver side...

turn signal relay on 91 200 by andy
Has anyone had experience where their turn signals quit working completely w/ a 91 200? The fuse is good, the switch on the column is relatively new. Both the turn signals and 4 way flashers are not working. My bentley manual says the flasher relay is located behind the guage cluster of the dash!?...

Hope someone can give me some advice. I'm thinking of buying an audi a6 2000 X reg 1.9 tdi, 80k on the clock, timing belt not done. Asking price £6.5K. My main concern is servicing costs. I'd be looking to keep the car for 3 years. Anybody any ideas of approx servicing costs? I've had quotes...

CEL and code for 98 A4 2.8 Tip by Tony
My son's 2.8 tip has been displaying a CEL and occasionally flashing. I told him tonight that flashing CEL means shut it off and correct immediately. He says that when it flashes it usually goes away quickly and is fine for a day or more the repeats. Tonight we were at a friends place who has a...

Audi Service Charges by [email protected]
Hi, I've had a lot of problems with a 2000 Audi A3. I recently got it repaired in Turners Cross Motors, Cork, Ireland. The most recent problem was that the petrol gauge stopped working for no apparent reason. After three trips to the garage it was eventually repaired. Parts cost €270 ex VAT and...

99 A6 - 75K Mile Service and Timing Belt by ...Mike
My 99 A6 has 71K miles on it. 75K service is due soon. The dealer does the service. This will include the timing belt. Their estimated price is $1800. Any thoughts on not having this done yet? Looking for success and failure stories.

coolant by ts
I've had to top up the coolant level in the radiator expansion tank on my Audi A2 today. The manual says it's important to maintain a 40% mix of anti-freeze to water but that you can top up with plain water in a emergency (which is what I did). How important is this ratio, and how much liquid does...
