Oil change procedure for Audi A6 Multitronic automatic model 2002 by Sami Heikkinen
Anyone knows the procedure for Audi A6 Multitronic ATF oile change? How it is done? How the oil level is checked after fill-up? What special equipment is needed? There seems to be no information at all in the internet how this oil change is done, and no-one seems to know. Everybody are just saying...

A3: Changing a lightbulb by RobP
Hi Got a A3 1.8T 2001 with one headlight dead. I thought I'd try and replace it myself, but am just wondering if anyone can give me any tips or point me towards any online docs. I'm not entirely sure if you change the bulb from the front or from behind. If it's from the front, I guess I have to...

2000 A3 brake pads - cost to replace? by Alex
Any idea how much a Northern UK Audi dealer might charge to replace brake pads, as my warning light just came on. The car has done 65K miles. Not sure whether I should just take it to an independent garage I have used, any advice there? cheers Alex

Leaking something pink and oily----2k a4 1.8 by Thomas G. Marshall
Ok, help. Something pink and oily feeling leaking down the engine compartment, hitting the plastic skid-pad, moving and dripping out the front. I may have had this issue once before, and solved it by the mechanic tightening a bolt that looked like it was encrusted in pink crusty stuff. What...

Thinking of selling my A4 by [email protected][_1_]
So I'm thinking of selling the ol' A4- it's a 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro with 105k miles. I love the car but maintenance is becoming a major drain on my bank account. I'm asking for advice on the selling of it. The check engine light just came on and the Autuzone scanner tells me it's a Fuel Air...

2001 A4 turn lights blink once and fail by [email protected]
Hi, My 2001 A4's (1.8T Quattro) turn lights blink once or twice and then die down as if the battery went down or something. This happens with both the left and the right turn lights. But when the hazard switch is pushed, the indicators work fine and continue to blink correctly. That probably means...

4 beeps & alarm siren battery by Cheeky B via CarKB.com
Currently on starting up my 1999 A6 1.9 TDI I hear a series of beeps. Looking at other forums etc. it seems to be a low voltage issue either with the main battery or with the alarm siren batteries not holding their charge. The problem only exists first thing in the morning which would lead me to...

Audi A4 Timing Belt with Water Pump by pwelsh777 via CarKB.com
I was just told by my mechanic that to replace the water pump, serpentine belt and timing belt on my 96 Audi A4 would be $1200. The labor alone ran over $500. Does anyone know if this is reasonable or not? Can someone give me an estimate for labor and parts? Also if anyone knows of a link to a...

Audi S4 or BMW M3? by Daz
Hi, I used to own a 330ci (2001) and loved this car, I fancied a change though and for the last 12 months have owned an Audi A4 3.0 Quattro, also a very nice car but not quite as fun to drive as the BMW. Now I'm looking at changing and I can't decide on an M3 or an S4, I've driven both a while...

Certified Pre-Owned Useless by Lorne Dyke
I bought an '02 S4 Certified Pre-Owned from Stevens Creek Audi (Bethel Motors) in the SF Bay Area a couple years ago. The warranty, albeit with deductible, and road side assistance to 100k miles was an attractive feature. I finally had to use the road side assistance, and Audi NA "customer care",...

Hi, I have seen a 2005 A4 1.8t wagon... very nice, 18", sport package goodies... 25000 kilometers and they are asking $40k Canadian. How much does it cost to make these engines rip? It just seems that 40k is a lot for a slow car, so what are the top 5 mods and their cost - please help me out!
