'92 Jetta Diesel keeps throwing fans belts (Help!) by Nevermind
I've never seen anything like this before.The installed belt seems nice and tight,and goes flying off anywhere from going 1 mile down the road,to a couple of weeks. I've tried new two different alternators.Same problem.I've installed quite a few belts and never had a problem like this.Any ideas?

vr6 engine bogging down by Get Involved
02 gti vr6.. What causes the engine to hesitate/cough/sputter when I shift into 2nd gear after winding out 1st gear. I don't power shift into 2nd, it's more of a speed shift but I do push my foot (after the shift) to the floor trying not to loose any RPMs...It takes 2 or 3 seconds for it to clear...
