AC recharge on a C3 by JR
I need my AC recharged on my 1980. Do I switch over to the new stuff. Or try like hell to find someone to put the original r-12 back into the system. Heard their is an oil incompatibility issue by putting the new stuff in an old system even if it has been vacuumed out? Thanks John Naples, FL

and another by TF
I contacted a local dealer who found what I want, 200miles away, but he won't tell me where. The yesterday price was $41,600 Today's price is $42,600. How can I search inventories for 200mile radius? Web sites? I can't find any good ones. Thanks,

Looking for appraiser by Diode
Guys: I'm looking for an appraiser in the Long Island (NY) area. The car in question is a '65 Corvair Monza 110 convertible. Yes, I typed that correctly, it's a Corvair, not a Corvette. Thanks guys...my friend needs it appraised for insurance value. -- Shut up, Dave.

2004 Coupe Questions by KeithSegraves
I just purchased a barely used (2900 miles) 2004 coupe. I sold a '69 small block about 8 years ago and always wanted another Vette! Anyway, my 2004 coupe seems to have very bad AM radio station reception. I also have a lot of wind noise around the driver and passenger windows. Is this normal??

Stereo Causing SYS error? by Scubabix
I had a new stereo installed in my 96 coupe. A couple days later it started giving me a SYS alert on the display. The dealership ran a diagnostic and told me it is caused by the system trying to dim the display on the Bose system that isn't there any longer. Two questions, first, is this...

Saw a C6 today... by Robotron Tom
I am not impressed. The back end is too fat, no pop-up headlights(WTF?), and the car looks way too euro which has really taken away from the true Corvette form. The interior looks good from what I saw, as the new owner was sitting in it getting a class on how to use everything. :| I stood back and...

quality of corvettes by cris
I loved corvettes for as long as I can remember. As a young boy, I had corvette models and toy cars, shirts with corvettes on them, and any time I saw one on the road I would stare in wonder. I always said, someday, I will own a corvette. About 2 and a half years ago, my finances and my luck...

GMAC financing. by Holo
Haven't bought a car in years and am purchasing an 05. Is the interest rate negotiable when financing? How much leeway does the dealer have regarding financing or does GMAC strictly control it? PSH
