Info about Chrysler 2.0L Engine by
[email protected]
I am considering buying a 1999 Plymouth Breeze for my daughter to use
for school.
It has a 2.0L engine. According to Allpar.com, there are SOHC and DOHC
versions of this engine.
Were both used in the Breeze, or only one?
I have a 1998 2.4, and have been through the headgasket replacement,

TECH: 1997 Chrysler Concorde 3.5 Overheating Again by
[email protected]
I'm trying to figure out why my 1997 Chrysler Concorde keeps
intermittently overheating. The car has a 3.5 V6 and 125K miles. About
10 months ago I was driving on the freeway and I noticed the heater was
not working properly. The air would blow somewhat warm and then start
blowing cold air, and...

1994 Intrepid fuel pump is loose... by
David E. Powell
OK. Having got through the access plate in the trunk of the car (It is
back by the back of the seat, under the carpet) I have checked the pump
on top pf the fuel tank. It bobs up and down a little to the touch and
there is a little metal ring with a tightening screw which has
apparently slipped...

K7AAY
With a Yaesu VX-5 powered from a Radio Shack car cord attached to the
console cigar lighter socket, I get rapidly repeating noise likened by
others to spark plug noise; but, no spark plugs on a diesel. Removing
the card cord and transmitting on battery eliminates the problem.
I'm about to switch...

Chrysler MOPAR Air Filters by
Greg Houston
I recently bought a few MOPAR air filters for my '99 LH car, part #
4591100AC. I noticed that the filters seem to be lower quality than
they were a few years ago when I last bought some OEM filters. They are
not stiff like they used to be (a little stiffer than Purolator), the
paper element is...

Hi there.
You people seem to really know your stuff so I'd like to pick your

I seem to have a front heater core leak in my 93 Dodge Grand Caravan
with air. I have no problem doing this kind of repair myself, however,
I have been informed that the entire dash has to be...

Hi all... I have gotten under the carpet of my (First Generation)
Intrepid to take a look at the fuel system. Inside on the right side of
the trunk, under the carpet, are two access panels. They are made of
some kind of stuck-on plastic which was painted along with the inside
of the trunk. With age...

David E. Powell
Hi all.
I hate to bother you fine folks, but a while back I was filling up and
gasoline leaked out. It seemed to be a thing with the top of the tank,
because it didn't drip out after the filling stopped despite the gauge
registering full.
However, since then there has been an odor of gas near the...

Starter Repair by
Whoever
I just repaired the starter on my '97 Voyager -- by replacing the 2
contacts.
However, looking on eBay, I see many auctions for a repair kit that also
include the plunger. Is replacement of the plunger also necessary?
Also, in the process of repairing the starter, the drain hose/plug broke
off...
