'74 Swing Axel Wheel Bearings by Juper Wort
Just about to do wheel bearings on the beetle and need to clarify one point. Haynes says that the large O ring goes over the bearing, when seated. Rob & Dave suggest large O ring goes into cover plate. I would guess that the end result is the same, but which if any, is likely to be more successful...

NOW after replacing the fragged roller brearings up front, a couple kids ran into traffic at an interesection. It was a real showstopper for all the cars as they all slammed on their brakes. I had to lock 'em up. The kids are okay. But now my front brakes are dragging. Goshdarn, I tell ya...
