74 350 Camaro by
[email protected]
I just bought a 74 Camaro and it's back firing horible when it's idled
up. I've been told; "timing,s-plugs, wires, points, and it needs ahigh
rise intake since it has a new 650 edelbrock on it". I'm going through
the electrical side of things. It has new alternator, plug wires,
points, plugs, &...

Caliper pins by
clifto
A friend called. He has a Grand Marquis, I believe it's a 2006 with ABS.
Said a caliper pin shattered on him Saturday while hand-tightening it.
Got replacements (for $100!) and they gave him two different-sized pins
and boots. We can't find any information on which pin goes where, i.e.
whether the...

Michael[_5_]
I wouldn't ask but going crazy searching the subject.
I've seen all sorts of opinions on various paints, good and bad or both on
each paint.
So, what is a good paint, single stage urethane (or
polyurethane?--difference?), black, quick drying, foregiving and paint cost
is not an issue (but...

car hinges by
Nouma
I'm doing a research on car hinges (doors, hood, lift gate) and I'm
trying to map the technologies (stamped hinges, profiled hinges or
forged hinges) that each car maker uses on its different models.
Unfortunately, I don't live in the US, so I don't have the opportunity
to go through each car...

Wiring 3rd Brake Light for Trailer by
dijon
I'm using a 4-pin plug to power my trailer (1972 Serro Scotty Gaucho)
and having trouble wiring the center brake light. Is there a way to
make this light brighten with the brakes but not blink with turn
signals? I have the standard 4-pin connector:
brown: runner (tail)
yellow: turn signal

Wheel Alignment by
Joe Smith
I just got a wheel alignment done. The car didn't seem to pull, but
because there was more wear on the outside of the front right tire than
the inside, I assumed it needed to be done.
I have a couple questions about the printout from the before/after and
the guy at kal-tire wasn't exactly...
