Experience in colder climates? by Don Q[_3_]
Just wondering about suitability... Anyone in a colder climate use yours as an only car? Weather protection and heater adequate? Any mechanical gotchas? Rust? Thanks. Don

Tire advice by miker[_3_]
As stated elsewhere, white 2003 NB new to me, about 18k on it now. Current tires are 205/45R16, labelled "Turanza" on the rear (well worn) and "Falken" on the front (not bad). I'm no racer, most tires will probably handle ok for me. My main intended use will be lots of highway miles to scenic...

Hello <again> by miker[_3_]
Back again... I still love my Ranger, but missed the black '96 Miata too much. I used to hang out here from 2005-2009. Decided to give up my road bike (an SV650) last spring and wanted another Miata for those trips to the twisties. Eventually I found a white 2003 with only 15k on it, looked...

I heard that the next model would be a collaboration with Alfa Romeo. But I also heard that the two cars would not be identical. Anyone have any links that explain how they wil be similar and/or different? Thanks D

Failed MD inspection by Frank Berger[_2_]
1. Rear window is tinted - that's against MD law. Have to have the tint removed. 2. Car is too low. I assume (hope) putting pack the 17" wheels will make it legal. 3. Right tail light is missing. Not burned out, housing is missing. Never noticed that. Grrr.

Power antenna upgrade -1997 miata by Hal
All, I have what I beleive is a good used power antenna motor from a 1996 miata. I bought a new mast for it, but I cannot get it to go up when the radio turns on. I don't have a wiring diagram so maybe someone can help me. I have a 4 wire plug on the motor itself, with the following wires,...

Mazda 2 - Increasing coolant strength by Emrys Davies
The manual of this car suggests that you go to your dealer re- this subject, but I only need to increase the coolant strength from its -17c to cater for expected -18c and basic instructions would be appreciated. The car is fairly new and I know how the radiator drains excess moisture into the...

Great looking Miata, errrr, Alfa you have there! by Chris D'Agnolo[_2_]
Great idea in my opinion. Both companies have a great opportunity here! As whacky as Mazda styling is getting, the Alfa has my attention even after many years of Miatas! The engine being by Alfa / Fiat has me just a touch worried but it seems Fiat has gotten it's act together these days, long as...

FS: 2006 True Red MX-5 Miata Sport - East Tennessee USA by John McGaw
I realize that this isn't meant as a For Sale forum but, given that nobody seems to post anything at all here I don't see how it can hurt. Financial realities have convinced me to sell off my lovely little Miata. After being a Miata owner since 1991 that is going to be difficult but needs...
