C5 Heat "issue" by
[email protected]
Happy new owner of a used 2000 magnetic red convertible. This replaced
our 94 competition yellow coupe. When I bought the car it had a
problem with the heater. Thought maybe the group could help out, but
found nothing on google so far. Anyway, when in heat mode (regardless
of vent/defroster...

93 Help...PKE Stopped Working by
Tom
It warmed up earlier this week so I washed my Vette. I didn't notice it for
a couple of days, then it hit me, no honk when I walk away from the car.
The button on the key fob works, the button in the car works, just not the
automatic lock when I move away from the car.
So, what could have...

Change stock radio to Bose by
Zorin Inc.
I have a 1995 with the stock cassette radio and stock speakers, before I go
and rip it out and go with an aftermarket CD player I was wondering what all
would be involved with changing everything over to a stock Bose system
instead. I'm guessing I'd need the Bose in dash CD head, the Bose...

1989 Corvette Battery Problem by
Scott
I have an '89 Corvette that's in excellent condition, and I'm the original
owner. However, the battery keeps dying and eventually I have to replace
the battery about every 18 months. The alternator has been replaced so
that's not the problem. The car has an aftermarket alarm, but that...

'75 fuel gauge by
W. Moore
Hi all,
Last spring I had to have the fuel tank removed and the rubber feed/return
lines replaced on my '75 model. The shop told me the tank was in excellent
shape with hardly a spot of rust anywhere. After the job I noticed that
when the tank is full the fuel gauge needle reads way past the full...

electrically stupid by
BDragon
I cannot quite remember what I'm supposed to be looking for. When the brake
is on, the tail lamp works, but if I turn on the headlights, the tail lamp
goes dark. Same thing happens when I hit the blinker. This only happens to
one light. The other one functions normally.
I cannot remember if I...

Hello fellow Corvette freaks. I have a 1991 coupe with 230,000 miles on it.
It has been a wonderful and reliable car. I am going to repleace the engine

How to Remove Door Panel C4/1995 ? by
chris_s
I need to get the door panel off so I can replace the door switch. I have
the door panel all loose, but the center molding plastic is a bitch. It has
to come out first. I took out the center screw. I took the light bezel out,
got that screw loose behind it, and the whole molding starting to...

Value of 327 Heads? by
What Ever
Hi,
I know nothing about motors. A guy that owes me $200.00 has offered in
payment three 327 heads. He tells me that they are 327 fueler heads with
casting numbers of 291 and are 325 horsepower with 64cc combustion
chambers. They have been hot tanked and have surface rust on them.
I would greatly...

C3 front bumpercover Q by
Yves Thaens
Hi,
I have a question about mounting the front bumper cover (fiberglass)
When I mount it to the nose of my 79, the bumper seems to creep up on the
front, in the way that it is sitting to high in comparison to the hood
surround panel.
No matter what I try, I can't seem to correct this. It is giving...

Collector plates by

Collector/Classic plates/tags are causing me a bit of a problem for my

Curious if others have had these problems and what you did about it or
what happened -
Under our regulations in B.C. for collector plates the car...
