I'd like to know how much of this sound dampening thing is enough for a bug.
Engine sound is sweet, but music is also needed. ;)

Karmann Ghia front hood treatment by
bbbacres
I'm getting a new interior for my Karmann Ghia convertible, 1969.
When I look under the front hood, there is no barrier between the
compartment and the back of the dash. When I look I just see
everything exposed, the glove box, the empty radio compartment, and
tons of wires just hanging there. ...

crud in case... solvent to clean? by
[email protected]
I pulled the breather-box-cap off my case, and
I see oil that has dried up (cooked?) and turned
to grease inside my case. I hope this is only
above oil level, and not throughout the entire
case...
Are there any oil additives that will clean this
stuff out? I'm thinking about moving the...

I haven't had the bug out on the road for about two months now. It's

says he's thinking about buying it. Well, this means I need to run a
tune up, and drive it around to lubricate everything.
Anyway, after cleaning off the...
