Jim[_2_]
I have a 156 as described above that is coming up for a cambelt change.
I am considering doing it myself......have done various others in the

presuming it can be done with engine in....does it need tilting to get
at it or the...

Blazer
Hi, I added a reformulator to my oil crankcase and gas tank and got better Performance and an INCREASE in gas mileage. It works on just about any combustible engine. It works on cars, boats, generators etc. I even use it in my lawn mower, lol. This stuff works. I put 1 ounce per 10 gallons of...

Oil in the cooling system - 147 by
david_dance
I have an 04 registered 147 Selespeed with 14,000 miles on the clock. The
car is an import, and not covered by dealer warranty, but I have full
mechanical breakdown cover.
Two weeks ago the oil pressure warning light came on. When I went to top up
the oil I noticed that the radiator header...

The dreaded 156 comes back tomorrow by
R D S
A follow up to anyone who remembers my previous postings..
After looking into the price of a replacement/recon engine I decided to have
work done on the existing engine.
Another piston was fooked so the oil pump was considered suspect.
The engine is at the engineers having the block lime bored,...

alfa 147 power steering leak by
[email protected]
Hello There.
I have recently developed a power steering leak on my 52 plate Alfa 147
t-spark lusso. After speaking to my local mechanic he said that if it
is a Seal that has gone, he would need to replace the Rack which would
be a major job for him. Therefore incurring me a large cost.
Is this...

147 Coolant levels by
Tom[_1_]
My 147 seems to be leaking coolant but I can't see where from. Topped it up
a couple of weeks back bit is below the min level again. Had a new radiator
about 15 months ago and no visible signs of leaking from that region. Anyone
else had any problems in this department?
Looks like a trip to a...

best car i ever had by
dt Kruger
Well, two weeks ago my 147 selespeed and me got hit from behind on the
highway while we were standing still, and the guy from behind travelled
about 100km/h.
The car took the impact extremely well, I escaped with just a stiff neck
and a minor bump on the head.
The assessors let me know today...

ALFA 164 Not Starting-Electrical Fault by
Tony Grasso
G'day,
Have owned my 164 for about 4yrs, & never had any trouble starting it.
But today, engine turns over, but not starting.
Called on-road on-site mechanic, pulled out one of the spark plug leads &
no spark.
Then found no spark to coil.
He also checked the distributor ( after removing cap )...

At about the 20th time of watching..... I've just noticed that in
'Ferris Bueller's Day Off', Cameron drives a beaten up Alfetta.
This film is even more cool than I originally thought :D
