Any help with the following would be appreciated. Engine light coming on intermittently for months. Code is Catalytic converter (bank 1, I think he said). Can this be anything but the catalytic converter? Dealer price for the part is about $1725. It doesn't seem to be available as an after...

New Honda being delivered Wednesday by Seth[_3_]
Well after 10 years of service and over 266,000 miles my '01 Accord EX-V6 Auto is finally leaving the family. This is the combination that Honda extended the warranty on to like 109,000 miles. Never needed anything done to it. That is until recently and now every morning I have a P0780 error....

High RPM at start up/then occilates by [email protected]
I recently bought a '90 honda accord. It 'had' a bad vibration at idle, so replaced the dogbone in the front (torn rubber element) to no avail. Then changed out the rear motor/xmission mount (what a bear) as it was the most probable cause and found it was indeed damaged. Of course to do this I...

1993 Civic VX won't start by [email protected]
About 2 months ago my 1993 Civic VX Hatchback just plain wouldn't start one day. Took out the battery (7 years old by that point), put in a new one, started like a champ. I seldom use the car (3-4 trips a week at most of no more than 5 miles per). Six weeks after replacing the battery, the car...

CR-V safety recall by Observer
I just got in the mail a safety recall on my 2010 CR-V. It has to do with the auto transmission control module software. I called one dealer and they said to allow 1/2 day but realistically if anyone knows, how long does the actual repair take? And do they just plug into the electronics to...

Low battery charge warning light. Does anyone know if Honda has cured this problem on the 2012 Odyssey? Seems to be a real annoyance with the 2010 and 2011 models. Thanks

Need New Key, 2011 Fit by Dan Wenz
I've managed to lose, over a 7 month period, both keys, and wonder whether a new key can be programed by the dealer with use of the vin# or need to have the car towed to the dealer, who I'll be calling tomorrow, Sep. 12.

I'm not totally new to Hondas, but this code is totally new to me. CEL light came on Sun afternoon and I had the code read out at a local Autozone. Should I reset it and see if it reoccurs? Check anything out? Or just get it to the dealer ASAP? (my local Honda dealer is good and I have no...
