C5 weatherstripping by [email protected]
My 2000 C5 coupe is just past 50,000 miles, and the weatherstripping where the rear of the left and right windows meet the removable top looks like it isn't a very good seal. The car also has some wind noise. (No surprise.) I can buy replacement weatherstripping from Mid-America. What is...

I have a torch red 2003 Z06 with 4000 miles, mint condition, adult driven. This car is perfect in every way just as it came from the factory. It has never spent the night outside and has never been in the rain. All original window stickers have been laminated. The leather seats and the carpet...

About seats by rebco10
I just do not like the look of the c5 interior. The seats just look plain compared to the c4 sport seats. I like everything else about the c5 better so take it easy.

C4 Brakes by George Csahanin
Hi y'all... My 92's brakes did something very odd and scary a few days ago. And this is not Vette-related, strictly speaking. It was HOT out, about 102ºF and I drove around doing basic errands. Engine running around 223 or so, stop and go traffic. Parked at the post office went inside, dropped...

Last weekend the 12-disc CD tray got stuck in the Delco CD player in the hatch. The CDs would not play, showed Err on the display and I could not get the tray to eject by opening the sliding door. I remembered a tip from another C5 owner and it worked. The tip is pretty simple..... just remove...

lupiini by Tapani Peltonen
Transmutaatiotekniikasta.

Need help with a question by H & A
Within a 4 week period, I have had two mirror assemblies break on my 97 coupe. The problem seems to be with the spring detent that allows the mirror assembly to pivot if struck. First, on the drivers side, and 4 weeks later, the passenger side. In both occasions, there was no apparent cause or...

Spun Bearing? by Steve Land
A knock appeared in my 350/350HP 69 this morning when I first cranked it. No problem the day before when I parked it. It started within 5 seconds when I first cranked it. My first thought is a bearing. Anyone else ever experienced this? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Steve
