Marek
Hi there,
I want to buy a decent small SUV or stn. wagon.
After some research I narrowed the choice down to two models:
Audi Quattro A4 1.8T and Subaru Forester 2.5XT.
I had already test drives and I like both of them.
SubaruXT has more power but Audi has far better finishing/interior.
I have to...

Shock absorbers by
Zenteren
I need to replace my custom shocks on Suzuki Samurai with custom coil
suspension and I found two types of shock absorbers on the market.
1. Very stiff when compressing and extending.
2. Very very soft when compressing, but extending is the same like in the 1.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee by
Bryan S
I recently purchased a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's stock (4.0L 6cyl,
4x4 part or full time, automatic) except for a Flowmaster exhaust. It now
has about 107k miles and I have noticed a slight pause in the shifting of
3rd to 4th gear, then a sudden jerk. I'm not positive if those are the

Dodge Dakota exhaust by
Ter
I have a black 95 Dakota, V6, still with the stock exhaust. No cat, but
that's going to change when I do the exhaust work, due to new PA
emmissions regulations (those *******s). I have it beefed up a little
as far as looks... off-road rims and tires, brushguard, 2" suspension
lift, little doo-dads...

I notice the power and ground quick connect kits sold by Warn and others for
the 8 to 10 thousand pound winches are rated at 175 AMP and sized for #2
gauge power cable. I figure the connects are rated for continuous duty @175
but are these components, both the connectors and cable, really heavy...

1996 Cherokee new owner--a couple dumb questions by
screwem
Hi, everyone;
I just bought a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. It's got the 4.0 liter
high-output inline 6 cyl motor with automatic transmission. Of
course, it didn't come with an owner's manual. It's been a long time
since my last Jeep, so I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping
someone can...

Land rover PTO Direction of rotation by
Eric Dockum
I have a friend who has recently fitted a PTO to his land rover at the
back. His intention was to drive a wood chipper unit that he has. He
lives in Holland.
He says that he has now found that the PTO rotates in the opposite
direction to that required by the chipper( made in Europe).
The trick...

Grand Cherokee Owners - Fight back!! by
Grumpy
Are you the owner of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that did not live up to
expectations?
More directly, did your Jeep Grand Cherokee suffer a premature rear axle
bearing failure? Did you find your contacts with Chrysler Corporation to be
unproductive in getting assistance to pay for the repair?
