1970s driveability by
Ted S
I know that the horsepower and torque of American V8s got
progressively lower between 1968 and 1979. My question isnt about
power, it's about "driveability" (hard starting, stalling, hesitation,
pinging, dieseling, etc.)
I have been considering a Chevy from these years as a daily driver.

76 Cars/What to do about cat converter? by
Halterb
Anybody know what to do about replacing the catalytic converter on a 1976
Cadillac Sedan DeVille 500 cid (owned since new)? There are re-built ones but I
haven't had good luck with them. The new, aftermarket units are a totally
different design, much smaller, and I wonder if they would have a...

Help finding/making trim clips by
Joseph
Hello All,
I have a '76 Alfa Romeo that has had a number of trim pieces removed
for painting. And of course the fasteners have gone missing.
The trim pieces (like badges and script on the trunk-lid) have pins
which stck through holes in the body panels. The fasteners were little
sheet metal...

Used body parts online? by
Dan
Are there any decent sources of used body parts (hoods, glass etc) for late
model cars online? I know I can search this but I'd like people's personal
experiences.
TIA

Part for '70 International Pick-Up by
Tony Cooper
I have a 1970 International Tow-All 1200 series pick up truck in the
driveway. There's a problem with the clutch, but I can't locate any
source for parts or a parts list for the beast.
If it was an International Scout, I could find a number of sources.
But, it's not.
Any suggestions? Links?

Searching for project car - but what about rust??? by
Alex
Hello,
I've recently purchased a new house, and now that I have an awesome
garage, I want to get a project car. I've been debating on which car
to get for quite a while, and I think I've settled on a 1957 Chevy
either Bel Air or series 210.
Does anyone have experience with these older Chevy's? ...
